Hello everyone! I had my anatomy scan this morning and found out the sex of the baby -

it is a........

GIRL. Isn't that great? So it's definately Matilda. Ye old wives tale spoke the truth LOL

Everything is fine except the placenta is a bit low - not actually placenta previa but it is across my caesarian scar so I have to go for another scan at 30wks.

The Dr doing the scan said that it may effect where I have the baby (in other words I might have to go to this horrible hospital which is nicknamed THE BABY FACTORY to get specialised care) and HOW, which I would suggest he means another caesarian. He also said it might cause a bit of bleeding (UGH) but fingers crossed we will be fine.

Praying about the placenta...let us know if there are any changes at the next scan!!!

Not sure about the middle name yet, we haven't really gotten into a discussion on the subject - however I like Matilda Grace or Matilda Rose... we'll see.

Your prayers would be appreciated because I had a difficult pregnancy last time and I would hate for a repeat performance - and also hate to end up at the "Baby Factory" it is awful and so far from home!

Congratulations!!! :D You have twin boys right? And this is your first girl? Lucky you!

Sorry to hear about the low lying placenta. I hope that it is nothing to worry about in the end!

No I have boy/girl twins who are almost 3 and a half and this is baby number 3 a girl.
