Oooo nice
Love the pooch! Can I come visit him? I'm not ready for permanent pet care, I just want to visit and get my fuzzy critter fix hehe

And I love your delapidated pic. LOVE old Fords :D What year is that truck? A '79?

And holes!! Aaaaaah haha so cute!

Kendra - Those are great... Love the Ford pic. Up until about a year ago we had the SAME thing here. I told him something had to go, we had 4 vehicles and 2 drivers  .. unfortunatly that was it.. he is just healing now. :D

Anyway.. DH loved the pic - brought back memories for him!

04-05-2007, 08:25 PM
Nici,

I am sitting in that boat now, 4 vehicles, 2 drivers. Seems silly, but what can ya' do? We only insure 2 of them and have no car payment so for now, they can stay.

I cant wait to see yours, Eva!

04-06-2007, 10:27 AM
Oh man LOL That was a trick question then (although, you didn't pose a question, but, you know what I mean LOL)
Those square headlights were what had me...but I never thought it was a morph truck haha

Oh and we understand the 'healing' after the loss of a truck too. Neither of us are completely over having to give up our '77 *sniff* We both just LOVED that truck...tan/brown, 4wd, beefy bulldog lookin' truck...*sigh* We had to sell it so we could move....8 years ago!! And it still hurts to think about it. Since then we've had a '78 parts truck, a '79 extended cab 4wd beast that was driven for a while...seems like there was another one in there...maybe. But yeah, we hold a soft spot in our hearts for those late '70s Fords

I wouldn't get rid of it unless I absolutely HAD to. I don't care if it's not currently being driven. Get it drivable. Work on it as you can. Hang onto that thing!!! (or if you must sell it, please let me know first ;) ) heehee

~Tara~

*zap poof zoom*

mama bronc
04-06-2007, 10:55 AM
Tara,

My husband feels the same way you do. He'll never get rid of it unless something catastrophic happens. Sentimental value as well as him having a thing for old vehicles. Here is the problem, he is currently rebuilding a 69 Ford Bronco from the frame up, and when this thing is all finished, it is going to cost us at least $20K more than what he bought it for! I don't think I can handle doing the same thing to that truck... Sigh.

~Tara~
04-06-2007, 12:33 PM
oooo but the bronc will be sooooooo snazzy when finished
and the joy! aaaah
and then you'll look at that ole truck and think...*wink* let's do it again LOL

Ok, so, the price tag still injects a sting, but, darn, it's so fun and addicting and gratifying and and and :)

Have fun!
Take/keep lots of pictures, regardless.
Let your hubby know he has some old Ford fans over this way ;) And await the finished bronc pics

mama bronc

OH my Tara ... you totally sound like my DH. Funny story.. when he was a kid (DH) his parents were selling one the family cars, he was so sad to see it go that he chained the hood shut so no one would want it... :) He becomes quite attached (understatement of the year!). He loved the pic of the Ford & knew exactly what it was.. cracks me up!

Oh look at that sweet, little tear!! [crwy]

Those are good, Tara!

~Tara~
04-10-2007, 05:09 PM
that sweet little tear was hard to capture! LOL
he had stopped fussing, but wouldn't be still when I had the camera in my hands. he likes to grab at it ya know...I have several close face shots in which he inserted a thumb or finger hehe and then he was in my lap, Im holding camera with one hand, trying to focus manually (!!) while he's moving and poking and reaching
 hehe
then after all that I notice I had my iso set too high so the pics have some noise grr but oh well, it's not *too* bad ;)
I'm going to play with that rusty one...the more I look at it, the more I just love the color...I think I can do some fun things with it..yeah, I know..I love it so let me go mess it up LOL but, well, that's how it goes ;)
thats why I save the originals

love2bmom

Those are excellent.. you need to give me some hints on pic taking. Did you take a photography class or are you just that talented. I have so many different settings on my camera & don't know what they all do :?

Love the tear pic!! Also love the rust pic.. great color..!

What do you mean "noise" in your picture? I love them all!

~Tara~
04-11-2007, 10:36 AM
No I've never taken a class in my life. Nada. Not even close LOL

What kind of cam do you have? Then maybe I can help you figure out its functions from there.

The "noise" would be the little specks and kind of grainy look to the picture. It is 'mild' in that pic, but I can see it. It happens at high ISO speeds, and I think even more so when the high setting isn't needed.

~Tara~
