Some of the reasons it works best that way:

1. Blake is still busy with school, soccer & his recital this week but it's all finished by next weekend.

2. Hubby's parents are going to be out next weekend anyway so if I need to head to the hospital, the kids are looked after!

3. Weekends are best anyway as hubby doesn't have to work... and I would love to make him a proud daddy of a little girl on Father's Day... just seems right!

I say its a great idea! I got my girl on Mother's Day... I think one of my friends should have a baby on fathers day[lovesmile]
