OK, so I couldn't handle it anymore - my nerves were getting the best of me. I just got back from Wal-Mart where I bought a pregnancy test. The first thing I did when I got in the door was take it and............
I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Holy cow. I'm in complete shock.
My husband doesn't know yet but I have the perfect idea for telling him. It's my daughter's first birthday on Saturday so I'm going to buy a book about being a big sister and have Kylah open it and then of course Josh will read it and be in shock himself... the question now is how I will keep this a secret from him for two whole days. I may have to do it tonight because he'll be asking if I got my period.
YAYAYAY!!! What a blessing.

Thanks for the congrats everyone! I couldn't wait until tomorrow to tell Josh so I decided to tweak my plans a bit. Before I headed out to Josh's work dinner/prayer meeting (families are invited), I went to a book store to find a "big sister" book to give to Kylah. Once we got home, I asked Josh to read Kylah the book while I got her bottle ready. I was playing around a bit, and took out the camera (I'm sure he was wondering what the heck I was doing). I started taking pictures of him and Kylah - which really isn't a rare thing because we have about a million photos of her - and then gave him the book to read. He read the front, didn't clue in... then opened it up and only got half-way through the sentence and he was like "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!" I was filming at this point. And then I handed him the positive pregnancy test. He was very very excited and then plan worked out perfectly. :)

When I was pg with #2, I found a chocolate shaped as a pg woman with the words-"Guess what?" written on it. I gave it to dh and his look was priceless!

Oh that is wonderful :) I think I remember when you got pregnant with your dd! Anyway I hope you stick around b/c we will love hearing about your pregnancy............Congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting! God is good!
When I found out, I gave DH a Daddy Dinner. I made him baby back ribs, baby spinach salad, baby carrots, peas in a pod, and angel foodcake for dessert. I served the salad in baby bowls and used cloth diapers that said, "I love Daddy" and "I love Mommy" as cloth napkins with teething rings as the napkin ring holders. I had made him an "I love Daddy" onsesie and his hospital T-shirt that says, "#1 Dad" on it.
I went to the pottery store and painted him an "I Love Dad" mug and filled it with Baby Ruth chocolates and made him an "I love Daddy" plate.
I had pink and blue candles set out and wrapped him all kinds of gifts in cloth diapers like a Father's journal, and a story book about Daddy as My Hero. I even made him a Daddy Caddy with diapers, tongs, safety glasses, for kicks and giggles.
It was great fun!

Congratulations! We found out we were pg ON our Dd's first birthday. It's been great being pg the second time around. It's a bit hard at first since Dd was still a bit small but yet very mobile....but she seems to get that brother is in my belly and is very protective of him.
I love how you told Dh. That was awesome! I came upstairs where Dh and Dd were in bed cuddling and hanging out and said..."yup, look like Emma is going to be a big sister." I said it so casually that he thought I was kidding....like I would kid about that! haahaa!
I pray this pregnancy and baby is healthy and pops out big and chunky!! :D
