I like encouraging my dd to give more, but I found an awesome way for her to see her gift in action: Possibilities International. This is a charity that targets individuals and families with small donations (>$1000) to fulfill "dreams". So you can make a $5, $10, $20 gift towards a "dream". They've even got it set up like a shopping cart and take Paypal. My dd's fav dream sponsorship so far - giving $10 towards purchasing material so another girl could fulfill her dream of making pjs for kids in Guatamala. That is an awesome idea! We do sort of the same thing through kiva.org. Sometimes I'm so glad we live in the 21st century... so many ways to connect with people around the world!
