Well, we have finally done it!
I finally broke down last week and put Samuel in his nursery alone. He made it through the first night all by himself just fine until about 5 am when I had to console him. I did NOT pick him up! I just whispered to him that it was night-night time and that he was okay. Then I covered him, gave him paci and he fell back off again on his own. He awakened once or twice before that time, but didn't really CRY. He wimpered and then consoled himself.
I am so excited! I am finally getting to sleep! I still listen for him continuously, but it is still better than getting up to feed him 2 bottles a night. He went directly to NO bottles the first night. How cool is that? He no longer feeds at night and will even wait until like 9 am before he demands to be out of his crib.
