My dh and I have been having Bible study in our home since Nov 06 and it has been such a blessing. Including dh and I there are 6 couples and we range in age frommid 20's to late 30's we all have children in fact on Friday nights there are13 kids in our home.... We are looking at doing some different Bible studies other than what we are doing now. Currently we are doing the Doing Life Together series. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. As we talked last night they wanted me to come up with some ideas and we would talk about them this next week. Thanks ladies. We don't want to do anything to intense right now I do know that.

Hi Ladonna. We are doing a bible study at church that is a 4 week study on Women of the Bible. The authors are Jean Syswerda and Ann Spangler. We are doing a women's study on it, but I see no reason it couldn't be done as a coed study. It's been interesting and goes pretty fast. Or maybe something by Beth Moore?
Hope this helps.

Max Lucado actually has compiled notes on I believe all the books of the New Testament and several of the Old Testament and created some really nice Bible Studies for small groups.

They are each 13 week courses with leader discussion guide in the back. They have generalized questions regarding the scriptures (not theology, just basic Bible knowledge and application) and then he has a few pages of his ideas/notes on the subjects.

I have done 1 & 2 Peter, Ephesians, Phillipians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Revelation, Esther and Nehemiah.

Great, easy to do and thought provoking. Just look online at his website or at your local book store and they are pretty easily found. Good luck!

I'd jump in on that! - Eph an 2 Tim are great! I love studying them! At the moment I am studying Hosea and that is really neat to do as it talks not only about faithfullness in marriage but also God's faithfullness to us. A real boster and made me cry - How great is our God?! [claphigh]

Several years ago I did a Bible study called Growing Kids God's Way. The authors are Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo. It came to mind because you said you have children.
