I'd say about a year ago I got a book called how to heal tooth decay. And it recommended taking a supplement of 2/3 fermented cod liver oil 1/3 butter oil. (It recommended green pastures formula, saying that not all were the same.) Well I looked into it and it was pretty expensive ($48 ) and fermented sounds gross to me! lol. So I got regular cod liver oil. It did seem to cut down on tooth pain, but my teeth still looked about the same. So finally almost 3 weeks ago I got the green pastures kind recommended. And already I see a huge difference. I'd say my teeth look 60% better (cavities decreased about 60%)! I hope before long I can report that they are completely better. :) I had to share this with you guys. I've been taking calcium and d3 for months, and have tried a few other things, but this is the first thing I've come across that has had dramatic results.
Sounds interesting, Chrissy! Do you have a link to it?

This is where I got mine from. If you mean a link to the book then no, but I did find this site http://www.curetoothdecay.com/Tooth_Decay/foods_stop_decay.htm Actually I'm glad I found this site it actually tells a lot more about it! :) It names a lot more things on there. I did switch to raw grass fed milk, but I hardly ever drink it (like maybe once or twice a week if that), my son does frequently though. I also didn't cut out sugar or wheat like it suggests. I don't eat much sugar though (I have been wanting less and less as I get older) I might have some sort of dessert once or twice a week, and natural sugar in a few recipes. I substitute honey a lot. I do almost always eat wheat bread, and whole grains.

Do you know off hand if this is safe for children to follow?

In the book he did give it to his daughter (I'll have to check but I think she was 4), but I think he gave her less. Like half an adult dose. I'm going from memory though, so I'll have to find the book and double check all that. I know there are lots of other things on the website you can start implementing right away though, like cutting out most sugar and refined flours and processed foods.

Happily, my complexion has cleared up a lot since I started taking this. [cheerful] So I'm trying out something else. I'm stopping my proactiv and just using borax (might switch to baking soda and lemon or some other natural soap) on my face. If I could cancel proactiv I would be cutting out one of the last chemical things I use, and it would offset the cost of the vitamins. So hoping that this will work.

He gave his 4 year old daughter 1/2 a tsp 3 times a day and cut out sugar and processed foods from her diet. Some of her teeth remained black in places but they no longer hurt and they formed a hard layer on top that protected the tooth.

That plan failed horribly and I broke out. But hey nothing ventured nothing gained. If anyone knows a good natural acne treatment let me know. :)
