ok I read that in the 2nd tri that you go pee less, well I feel like I am going more PLUS when I go it is nothing. Which is really sad for me because it feels like my bladder is busting and then just to pee a little bit....anyways enought with the TMI. have any of you felt this way too? Also just so ya know it doesn't feel like I have a UTI, no burning or hurting when I pee.

Yup, that's pregnancy. I know you can have an UTI and not feel anything, so maybe bring it up to your doc because I don't usually start having the "I HAVE TO PEE NOW!" but then go a drop feeling until later in pregnancy, but it's something that we are blessed with. I have sworn sometimes at night that my bladder had never been fuller, only to pee the smallest amount ever.
Just wait, the more pg you get, the worse it is....not to sound all dramatic, but the uterus just gets bigger and puts more pressure on that bladder...I hope you don't have to go downstairs to pee like I do..that isn't fun in the middle of the night! LOL

I was relieved when I made it to the second trimester since I would get a small break for the end. Then... it never came. I have no idea what "they" are talking about when they say you get a break. I felt no break at all. But that's okay, it's all worth.

And yes, I've had times... especially of late, where I feel I'm going to burst because my bladder is completely full. Only to have a small bit come out. It's the wonderfulness of pregnancy.

I had to pee sooo much from day one all the way through delivery! LOL...here's a trick to emptying your bladder better....after you stop on your own or even at the very beginning.....lean forward a little to put pressure on your stomach and then lean side to side still bent forward....this helps to squeeze more out since things are all moved around and it has a hard time emptying the bladder totally by itself! Works awesome!

I never had that urge during first trimester this time like I remember with the last one, but in the last 2-3 weeks, it's been awful. Only every time I go, I REALLY have to go. I guess I've been drinking more water lately and maybe that's contributing, but this week, I have to admit that it's felt like this little booger has been tap dancing on my bladder as much as I've had to run to the bathroom.

Who knows if it will get better or not? I pray that it does, but logically know that I'm in for the long haul now. Do ask your Doc about a UTI, I know I had a slight problem last month but didn't think it was that initially. You never know with pregnancy.

I was always severely dehydrated prior to the pregnancy. I never drank enough fluids and rarely ever had to pee. Now I feel like a pee machine. I have been craving water and all I do is drink it.

I actually had a UTI last month. I had no symptoms at all (no burning or itching). I did have to pee frequently, but figured that was just normal with pregnancy. I had to take antibiotics for a few days and now I am fine.

I guess when you are pregnant your bladder doesn't empty completely and it allws bacteria to grow.

I love this board! It makes me feel "normal". I'm 2 weeks into the second trimester and I'm still waiting for the potty break
It's such an odd sensation. To me it feels like a brick sitting upon my bladder when I stand up. Then when I stand up, I find myself saying "Oh my...I gotta go."

Good description, Grace. It feels as if a brick is on your bladder! When I get up, it's unbelievable! The pressure makes you feel like you're doing to go right then. Just wait until your little one gets even bigger. It gets even better!

Yes, this board is wonderful. It's so nice to know other women are going through the same things. It helps relieve the worries some.

hun. -I'm so there right now. I was just thinking the last couple of days that it felt like an increase in pee. =( I think I remember getting a break last time- grrr. Though I've noticed that my wake up pee comes later than before so maybe that's it  Hang in there =) -ren

Yep I dealt with that too, but i think for me it was only during the last trimester. But yes, it's annoying, especially at night. All I can say is thank God for indoor bathrooms!

PTL! [bow] I am SO grateful at 4 AM! I am also so glad to have this board so I know I am normal...it seems like I am paraniod over every little detail. I have my next apt in a week and they check your urine every time so I guess I will see then. Thanks ladies for your input.

I think everyone id different. With my son I never had the urge to have to go the bathroom constantly. Although with this child I'm only a month pregnant and I'm already having urges..... I guess that just proves what my mom said, that every pregnancy is different. I hope things get better for you.

There is still so much pressure on our poor little bladders! I don't feel the need to go that much more often, but then the urge strikes I've GOT to got THEN!
