Ok, I don't remember this with my first, but has anyone else noticed that they are sneezing a LOT more. I mean I use to never sneeze, only when I had a cold. Now, I sneeze 2 or 3 times an hour all day long.
I'm not having any sinus problems or anything, just simple sneezing. Just wondered if I was the only one getting this with pregnancy?

Thanks!

At the beginning of my pregnancy with Titus I had a lot of sinus issues. I am prone to allergies anyway, but it was a definite increase over the norm. Pregnancy just produces all kinds of changes doesn't it!

Well to add to the sneezing today (which has been worse this week than had been) I am having a hard time breathing too. I haven't had problems with that since I was in basketball in junior high and had to use an inhaler some. It looks like pregnancy may be causing some asthma symptoms to appear to. I figure it's just all that internal stuff moving around to make room for this months growth spurt though.

Boy, this kid better behave once he's here, cause he sure is wreaking havoc on mommy before he gets here!

I should have known I was pg by all the sneezing I had been doing. I probably sneezed ALL day for the first 20 or so weeks of my pg. It's settled down now, I have had a really bad cold for two weeks, and have been sneezing a lot due to that....and it makes me pee now...LOL gotta love loss of bladder control, but now that the cold is almost over I am better!

Hopefully you will stop sneezing soon too!!

I sneeze a lot anyways, but haven't noticed an increase. But I do have more sinus drainage. Every morning I have some I have to cough up. At night my head gets so clogged up I can hardly breath. I think I've gotten used to it at this point.

This is my first pregnancy, so I have nothing to really compare it to. I had a really bad sinus infection during my second month. I've noticed a lot of sneezing since, but I think it is because everytime I sneeze I feel pain in my lower abdomen. My doctor assured me it was ok, and just has something to do with ligaments stretching during the sneeze. But, I think that forces me to pay more attention when I sneeze, making me think it happens a lot more than it actually does.

Yes, sometimes when you sneeze the pain is horrible in your lower abdomen. Fortunately, I knew it was ligament pain from the beginning, because it hurts so bad, it's hard not to think that something is wrong. I try to remember to hold my abdomen when I sneeze to help. It doesn't happen every time, but whenever I forget to hold it is when it seems to happen. Wow! It takes your breathe away!
