I found this article:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/news/fullstory_45652.html
That says if done right, NFP can be as effective as the pill. I am thinking about trying it. Obviously I can't really do it while I am pg, but once again I am watching the Taking Charge of your Fertility Book on ebay for more info.
In the meantime, I have some questions for NFP ladies:
Do you just use a regular thermometer to take your body temperature orally every day? Um, how do your check your cm? Is it really hard to keep track of it all?
I know there are at least 2 women here who have gotten pg while trying NFP, and my late aunt did also, so I am kind of nervous about trying it, but really do not want to go back on hormonal bc and I just plain don't trust barrier methods, since they are so much less effective on women who've had children and have failed me once already before I'd even had children.
