My morning sickness went away at about 12 weeks, I am now 26 weeks and it is back in full bloom. Has this happened to anybody else? [whatscratchinghead]

With ds I had horrible morning sickness steadily until 20 weeks and bouts of it off and on till about 30 weeks. So it is not unheard of for me to be sick this late in pregnancy but I had hoped that it was gone forever.

I never had morning sickness with either of my babies. Now with my dd I felt nauseous if I got really hungry so I always had saltine crackers with me. That went away by 12 weeks though. I'm sorry I can't offer any advice but I will be praying for you! Stephanie :D

Ok. UNFAIR!!! :D

Mine went away after about 14 weeks, then today out of nowhere, I felt sick again. I hope this trend ends...like today!!

[crytantrum] I totally feel what your saying Beck. Morning Sickness is for the birds.

On the brightside of things with my ds I only gained 2 lbs due to morning sickness and walked out of the hospital almost 20 lbs lighter then my preprego weight. Quite the diet plan. I don't think that will happen this time though.

You lost weight in your pregnancy, Stephwhiz didn't have morning sickness...

What is this??

(Ok, I guess I can't complain...I had 10 hours of labor and thought it was severe gas.)

Anyway, back to the original topic, I had some applesauce and it seemed to settle my stomach. I've also been told that ginger does wonders for nasea!

Ginger is wonderful for an upset tummy! I have also found that the sour altoids work well for me too.

My mom had severe all day sickness with me for the first three months and then the last three months. And yet she managed to gain 80 lbs.....However, it was mainly water, she was back to prepreggo weight within two months, I think it was.

I had morning sickness until close to week 16 this time around. It was way worse than the first one. I was grateful for it though. Kept telling myself the preggo hormones were stronger than the first time and to be grateful for the small favors. Now, I am wishing for the nausea to come back if I didn't have to deal with this heartburn and constipation.

With Isaac I stopped being REALLY sick for a while and then of course I started getting sick again! Bummer, huh? :( I hope it goes away for good soon!

You know what? I just thought of something else...

I was feeling so sick during the day after my morning sickness should've ended, and I realized it was because of my prenatals. The prescription just said to take them with a full glass of water, so that's what I was doing. Then I was talking to someone about it, and she told me to take it with food because vitamins are horrible on the stomach. So I did, and ever since then, I haven't felt sick (well, with the exception of the other day).

It's good to know that I am not alone. I truly hope that this doesn't last for the rest of the pregnancy.

I have restarted some of my morning sickness routines, making sure I am full all the time. Having something to eat by my bed. Getting extra sleep etc. seems to help it some I just need to remember to think about it. I was just so used to feeling well that I sort of forot what to do when I was feeling sick.

Got sick one day while I was washing my 15 month olds hands in the bathroom. Ds son laughed everytime I gagged or puked and all he wanted to do was touch it. Throwing up to the sound of your childs laughter makes it a little better

I am now 18 weeks and I was sick up until about 2 weeks ago, I couldn't eat properly or anything - and I have heard of women who are sick the WHOLE way through, however I will pray that you are not one of them.

It could be just a hormone swing causing it.... and like Beck said, prenatal stuff you take can cause it (I get gassy stomach problems from iron tablets :x )

At church there is a girl who is 14 weeks, her first baby and NO MORNING SICKNESS! ARGH! She was brite as a button and not even showing, man I could have ate my hat (except I don't own any...LOL). I think she was abit jealous of my tummy tho.

Last night I had such bad indigestion and reflux   no more Chicken in white wine for me.

I was sick until week 19 with my secong child and at around 30 weeks tha morning sickness came back and stayed until I gave birth. This didn't happen with my other 2. My doctor said that the hromones that were making me sick the first trimester (plus) were responsible for the 3rd trimester sickness. I wasn't as sick as I was the beginning. I did gain en extra 10 lbs because it was during the holidays and I was trying to keep the naseua down. Hang in there - you're in the home stretch.\
