A Bible that belonged to my first real boyfriend. It was given to me by his parents right after he died in a plane crash. So many of the verses he had marked in it have ministered to me over the past 8 years.


If you could go back and have a conversation with one person who has passed on before you - who would it be? (For me, it would be him!)

I would have to say I would talk to my sister, I would tell her I love her and I miss her so much. Losing your best friend is so, so hard!!

I LOVE Mallow Cups, sixlets, candy cigarettes and bottle caps...so any of those!

If you had to choose only one type of meat to serve for a month, what would it be?

Chicken, but my hubby would absolutely freak! LOL! He doesn't mind it once in a while, but his mom fixed that and pork chops every day of every week when he was growing up, and now he really dislikes it. He won't eat it at all if it's on the bone....has to be boneless skinless. JAnd I love love love the stuff! :(

If you had to to buy a new printer, what kind would you get?

I would replace my HP printer with a updated one. Mine is a fax, copier and picture maker. I love it and a newer version would be great!

Anything... A CALORIE-FREE cheeseburger, fries, and milk shake! I have really been watching what I eat and I am starting to get cravings for something other then baked chicken and fruit! :oops:

Which kind of cancer - Breast cancer. I've lost several friends and mentors to breast cancer. 3 of whom battled for years, went in remission to only succumb to it again and not survive.

I would like to be over this cold that I am currently battling.

If you could sing any song at Praise and Worship next Sunday what would it be?

I'm actually scheduled to sing next week...so this is something I'm trying to decide. Probably "Redeemer". I've had several requests for it lately and since it's been a couple years since I've sung it I guess it's time to do it again. And I love singing "Sanctuary" to prepare for worship during our regular service.

If you could make over your bedroom how would it look?

Oh...want to do this so badly,but instead we are working on the baby's room. Ok, currently we are mauve and maroon with black furniture and gold curtains. Sounds awful, I know, but it doesn't look THAT bad. What I want now is a pale green paint with a stencil of ivy and roses around the top of the room. Currents, comforter, pillows and furniture in all natural tones. Tan, antique white, seafoam green, a few pale yellows thrown in with seashells scattered about the room.

If you could redo your bathroom, what theme or colors would you use?

Hmm...how about a pretty, black spaghetti strap dress with spring flowers on it. I wore it with a white baby doll t-shirt (remember that style?) in high school. I'll see if I can't find a picture of it. I also wore it for some of my senior pictures. :D

If I could do anything for Easter I would.... Have dh make me breakfast before church and get dd ready. We would go to church and instead of me teaching the little ones I would just stay in the main service!

My dh's Uncle. He was murdered a year ago in a parking lot. The man was an 18 year old Hispanic and was high on meth. He jumped in my uncles truck had a gun told him to scoot over, my uncle said you can have what you want and grabbed His dd's Bible and went to get out. The man shot my uncle in the back. Pushed him out of the truck and left him in the parking lot to die. My DH's uncle was a amazing Christian. He has a wife and two dd's. The oldest is married and the younger one got married after her father was murdered. The wedding was sad but beautiful. They are still having such a hard time.

If I were president for a day I would change the way christians are treated unfairly in this country. They are so busy making laws to make sure no other relgion gets stepped on, that we now are the ones who can't say a word anywhere. Somehow try to get congress to understand there is more poor here in this country that nned help than they want to know. When my son works full time and can not afford a apartment and the car insurance of a car that is a 1994 and to have enough left over for food. We are in trouble!

I think if I were president I would create a fifteen minute "meditation" period in schools. I understand that not everyone in public schools is a Christian but I think that it would be very good for those who weren't to witness Christian's spending time with God. And for those who aren't it is a chance to reflect on the events of the day.

The first seven months. After that the baby gets so big that it really gets uncomfortable.

A huge Bavarian creme filled donut! I haven't had a donut in ages....and oh that sounds so yummy!

I actually had yogurt and granola a minute ago. Healthy, but not near as yummy!

Probably my second or third grade years in elementary school. I just felt very "top of my game." I was focused and confident and my parents allowed me to have a good childhood. It was also the point in my life when I had complete faith in God...before all of the adult stuff got in the way. :?

If your family could go anywhere on vacation this summer where would you go?

I would love to go back to Wyoming. I haven't been since I was in high school and prior to that I went every summer for 2 weeks. That and probably Colorado, Montana, Oregon...you get the picture. I'd love to tour the Great Northwest! Of course I'd have to hit Nebraska for a few days too!!!

A plumber and supplies for a day so I could have running water!!! Okay or on a little less selfish side, I would love to buy my 3 year old one of those giant blow up slides. They had one at my parents church this weekend and he cried when they had to take it down. He LOVED it! I'd love to be able to give one to him to have all the time.
