I went for an u/s last week for pain and I had a small cyst(my 1st ever), well went back Wednesday and did another u/s and its half the size, I am in no pain just that one painful night so they said we do nothing let it go away on own, the probably is I could of swore I ovulated on aug 2nd and aug 17th is when I should of started, I should not be pregnant took a test neg but have been protecting, my lp is normally 14 to 15 days long, I am regular, like clockwork, so if I ovulated the 2nd that would put today with a 17 day lp, I thought the longest is 16day? Anyway as of wed the cyst is still there but shrinking and wonder if that could delay my period or maybe I missread my cervix and cm(but it was too obvious of ovulation), if that's the case then I haven't ovulated yet ugh(since no SHOW of cervix and no ewcm since aug 2nd)! What you think?

Yeah, not sure if it's ever the literal cause of delay but they do go together. I think my hormone issues were causing cysts and long cycles and do wonder what the interplay was. Maybe going to take a cycle or two for hormones to balance out again?
