I don't know what to title this actually. :P Sure, that sounds good.

Soooo, Charlie just turned 4 months last week and he cut his first tooth today. I can see the second one is riiiiiiight there but not yet coming through. He has been restless and not sleeping today. Cried quite a bit. Poor little guy!! Gracie got her teeth around the same time. [whatwacko]

OK, so my question...
Babies are supposed to be EXCLUSIVELY breastfed for the first 6 months. What are your thoughts then on things like teething tablets or other natural remedies?

He has on his amber necklace. It really has helped. I thought I saw my pedi say something against giving anything to infants under 6 months, except for Tylenol. But I'm not positive on that. Anyway, just curious as your thoughts and if you have any other natural tips for teething. TIA!

I have always given my children humphrey's teething tablets (Walgreens I think) and they work really well. I love, love, love them and when Jeffrey gets to the point where he starts teething I will be giving them to him as well.

You would have to check the label on the teething tablets and I am not sure if Hyland's is still around anymore since they were necessarily recalled. I know that it is usually discouraged to give an infant anything but tylenol for the first 6 months. But a pharmacist could help better than anything since they have extensive training.
