Hi all,
Thank you for all your prayers.
I survived. (thank our heavenly Father)
and all went well.
I was extremely tense and emotional. esp when they wheeled me into theater - when i saw the theater room, i just had flash backs of the past and cracked. i think the anesthetists gave me a triple doze of something to calm me down, and some thing to sleep after everything.
anyway...
Luke Joshua was born on Monday at 7:35am (i am glad it went so quickly - did not have much time to dwell...)
anyway, a whopping 4.375kg. Biggest baby born in that hospital that day (that is out of the 19 babies born there)
He is so healthy, and cute. and as long as his tummy is full, his bottom is dry, and there is no winds/cramps and he is warm enough, he is so good.
i must say, i forgot everything once they placed him on my chest. (and they did that in theater! He was crying while they were cleaning him, and as soon as they placed him on my chest, he stop crying. that was SO amazing! WOW! a memory i will NEVER forget.
then, I got to kangaroo care, which means, he was not left in the incubator. was SO much better than i ever expected! C/s is not THAT bad.
Thank you again for all your prayers.
God really carried me through it all, and turned it into an amazing experience. :)
