Hi everybody! [imnewheresign] I am finally posting my intro after lurking for a couple of days here -- I hope nobody minds. :D
My name is Deborah. Or, as my DH of nine years (next month, but close enough, right? ;) ) sometimes calls me, Debbers. His name is Larry, and he just joined the group for Christian dads. Together, we have four children; 5yos Jonathan, 3.5yod Mae, 2yod Grace and 6mos Benjamin. We hope to have more children -- we haven't set a limit! :shock: :lol: We live in Perth, Western Australia, although DH is American and we met and married in Cincinnati, Ohio.
One thing I am frequently asked on other forums is where I got my screen name, so I will go ahead and explain that now. As I mentioned, one of Larry's nicknames for me is Debbers. Years ago, we were daydreaming about starting an icecream business specialising in really decadent, "naughty" flavors -- and the business name we came up with was NaughtyDebbers. I still use the name for my home business, but that is not icecream-making.
I enjoy many crafts including quiltmaking, rug-hooking, crochet, knitting, general sewing and fixing things up. We also try to live a frugal and environmentally conscious lifestyle. We homeschool our oldest and intend to homeschool the rest as they get old enough. We attend a Baptist church. DH is a theology student who hopes to become a pastor at the end of his studies (he's in his final year!!!!) [claploud]
