Ds appears to be self weaning... Ahh! Was not quite ready for this. He has been slowing down usually nursing 2-4 times total a day, but still for sure when I put him for a nap and at bedtime. I am thinking my milk supply will disappear though as he did not want to nurse for yesterdays nap or at bedtime and even refused this morning which is crazy as usually he relaxes and has a nice long nurse in bed with me in the mornings. It's weird....

Maybe my milk is changing with pregnancy? Trying to drink more, but really he just seems busy now and ready to quit. He has been drinking really well from a cup for a while. Thinking I have to accept my baby is getting big [lovingsmiley]

Any thoughts? I know they are supposed to have extra fat until two. [thumbsupgrin] Happy he was eating avacado yesterday, will have to see what else he likes and will drink now. I am still going to offer to nurse...

Ah, it is bittersweet isn't it?

Different babies react different ways to pregnancy milk. My little one nursed through pregnancy, but I know that many will self-wean as well.

Avocados, coconut, and olives are all great sources of fats.

Well he has nursed a few more times :-D I feel so much more prepared now that I know he is not as interested and really snuggled and soaked in those times. :-D I was surprised I still had milk after two days of not nursing. Thank you for the food list. :-D
