Photo Scavenger Hunt #5 (aka Friday Photos?)

I think we're on 5 now, right?

Rules/directions:
Interpret these "things" as you wish. Whatever these words mean to you. This is through *your* eyes. Snap a pic of each "thing" and post it back here by next Friday. These can be pics you've previously taken, new pics, film or digital. Just no extreme Photoshop-ing. You can tidy it up, crop, but no fancy schmancy elaborating stuff. This is to be your original image.

That's all there is to it. No winners or losers. All in fun! :)

If you're not familiar with posting pictures:
Snap your pic, upload it to a free host site such as Flickr, Photobucket, etc. (if you don't already have an account with such, just do a search for 'free photo hosting site', registration and set up is VERY easy.) Then from there, once your pic is uploaded to that site, you grab the [ img ] tag and post that here.

Oh framed immediately came to mind hehe We had lots of fun with it. The kids went crazy. Sis was weird at first, I actually have a progression of her coming into her own there hehe
And do you have any idea how many pics I took of that knife!?! Underneath too for that matter. The little stinker..he zips across there so fast...gee, guess I could have left it as a blur and called it my 'fast' pic eh? Anyway, he's always zipping through there, I can't get a nice shot of him actually underneath. We were chasing each other the other day LOL

I don't know *what* I'm going to do for these others yet :?

Oh Becca...I like your texture idea ;) Very cute. Though, now I'll have to hurt you as you've made me seriously want some choco dipped strawberries :D

OT: By the way, I keep meaning to mention this..Tara, I've been wanting to try some of your soap since I first read that you make homemade soap. Do you ever sell any? I buy homemade products from e-tailers all the time...love homemade soap. What kind of oils do you use in yours?

I don't have any *good* stock currently. I mean, you're welcome to it, but it's what *I* consider less than desirable.
I'm hoping to get back into making it here before *too* long.

But right now I have some ginger lime; blackberry and I think some black cherry hanging around. They're nothing special to look at. But I can see what I have, take pics and get back to you if interested.

I use lard, olive, sunflower, coconut and safflower mostly. Some walnut, grapeseed...
Depends on the soap. A few have 'extras' ;)

Yeah...lost mine Monday. We had taken the kids out to the track to practice. Then in the parking lot to let the littles ride. The last I remember it was sitting next to me on the hitch cargo rack. Hubby even loaded bikes on the rack after that..but we never noticed. Until I got home. I was going to grab my camera to glance at the pictures I had taken of my 5 yr olds first ride on the track and my 3 yr old's first ride on her brand new first bike *sniff* so I'd have it all ready to post on my blog on Tuesday morning. Then....no camera. Retraced all my steps here at the house, we both looked in on around and under the truck. No camera. I've been rather depressed all week because of it. I seriously feel as though I've lost a limb.
It was my creative outlet. That's what I do, take pictures, of everything, anything. It's my *thing*. And now it's gone. I have nothing. I am nothing. :(
I left a message on the BMX board that if anyone found it, in any condition, to let me know. SOmeone responded that they had left shortly after we did and didn't see anything. And it's not a busy parking lot, so it's not like folks were whizzing in and out and someone else took it in that time. More than likely..it stayed on the rack for a bit...til we were on the road so it could then fall off and get completely crushed :(
So, yeah, no camera for me. I'm dying and it's only been 4 days.

Oh Tara!! I'm so sorry!!! :( I feel for you! I went on a trip to Tennessee a few years ago...took some amazing pictures of so many things...when we got back, my memory card just like, died! There was nothing on it and I couldn't take more pictures. I know it's not the same as not having a camera at all...pictures are memories....I wish that there was something that I could do!!! :(

Yeah...it is a lot...I REALLY hope that the camera is found...and that if nothing else, at least you'll be able to take the pictures from the memory card!! *hugs* I'm so sorry that you're going through this right now!!! :cry: It's stupid, but I feel horrible!! I really hope that it turns up!!!

Oh no!! :( I am just reading this!! I didn't know you lost your camera!! You poor dear![crwy] I am the same way - I love to take pictures and it is also one of my creative outlets. I can't imagine not having a camera.
