Clomephine

I started my clomephine today. Has anyone taken this before? When I was in mexico for both of my IVFs I didn't have to take this. Have you had any side effects

I took 50mg of Clomid for three cycles and got pg with our DD. I had some bad emotional side effects from it, but I can't really remember anything physical. If you have any history of depression or anxiety make sure you tell Dh to watch out for you. My Dh told me that if I didn't get pg on the last round, PTL I did, I would have to quit because I was kind of starting to go a bit insane. Once I was pg and stopped taking it I was fine. I even had a wonderful depression-less pregnancy and postpartum...so I was being protected by the Lord for sure!!

I did clomid started at 50 and worked up to 200mg....biggest problems were vaginal dryness and horrible hot flashes...but worth anything since we got junior from it! Good luck!! :D

It's been years since I was on Clomid. It caused lots of emotional ups and downs, but that was probably coupled with the emotional ups and downs of TTC. I used to call it my CloMAD. ;)

Actually, Clomiphene is the chemical name for Clomid. There are so many names and prefixes and abbreviations for everything involved in TTC, it's a wonder women don't lose their minds just trying to keep it all straight. UGH! LOL!

I had a low dose of Clomid and boy did I have the worst hot flashes. [flame]
