I had my first THREE last week. Hey, it's been 15 years since I've had to scoop a floater out of the bathtub. It's just wrong. And. of course, all the toys were in there and shampoo bottles, which had to all be washed down...

[rofl] I remember those lovely floaters! In fact my nephew spent the night several months and and filled the tub with floaters---my don't they smell good with all that nice warm water. Put it this way, My daughter was i the tub with him when he did it and she "walked on water" getting out of there!

Don't worry, it's not a boy thing!! Last week my DD (14 mo.) managed it 3 out of 5 nights! Before that, it had been every Sunday morning for a month - when we're already rushing to get out the door for ss and church! Thank goodness for Clorox Anywhere spray and wipes!! But, at least it doesn't hurt her to go that way. She has had trouble these past few months having a BM, to the point where I think she was getting scared to go and learning to hold it. The warm water helps relax her and loosens things up a bit....sometimes too much!!! :?

Never had that problem with my son - BUT - my mom swears my sister did it every time she put her in the bath! Of course, my sister had some pretty severe problems when she was little with having a BM so I agree with others about the warm water easing the pain and loosening things up a bit.
At least you don't have a constipated cranky baby on your hands!

[rofl] The first time my DS did this, my DH didn't know what the thing was, so he scooped it up & smelled it (thinking it was a piece of soap). Did he ever regret that!!! Now he know's better!!! :P
