My ds has had a little red rash on his cheeks for the past few days. This morning I noticed it is on his chin now! Should I be concerned? He has been drooling ALOT so I don't know if that's the cause for the rash. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all but yesterday he did have somewhat of a decreased appetite...

That's pretty normal at that age. It can mean that his cheeks are just a bit chapped from the colder weather or as I figure, it is the beginnings of teething. My son always had a rash on his cheeks and nose when he was teething and although it seems early, mine did start that around 2-3 months old.
If it seems to get worse or is causing him pain you may want to check with his doctor. But a little hydrocortisone cream or aqauphor on it will also help some.

Sounds normal! Dd has had a rash from all the drooling and my other kiddos did too. Decreased appetite could mean he is getting a tooth, especially since he is drooling a lot. Mine usually didn't want to eat because it hurt. He might like a cold wet washcloth to chew on or a cold teether. :)

Thanks! I spoke with the doctor and she told me to put a mix of Eucerin lotion and a hydrocortozone cream twice a day. I only did it for one day and the rash is gone. I also put a humidifier in his room and it seems to help...he also likes the white noise that the humidifier provides!
