Okay, ya'll. So, what thermometer do you/ or did you use? For charting purposes?

I have been just using our "safety 1st" digital. (It does include the odd tenths) Well, I was talking with the nurse and she told me NOT to use that one. Didn't know why, but said they're told to reccomend the BD digital. Now, that's the one my mom has, and I remember when I was a tween/teen, and was sick, I would continuously check my temp and it would never be the same, like anywhere from 1-5 tenths different either way. And we all know, 5 tenths can mean a BIG difference, so I'm curious now, which thermometers do you all use?

Exergen brand forehead digital....Oh goodness is it easy and in split seconds and not subtracting or adding anything! Walgreens carries them and they're like 30.00, but used so much and last forever and so easy for moving targets! HIGHLY reccomend them!

For Fertility BBT, I used the Target or Walgreens off -brand digital thermometer for good consisitant and accurate readings...both were under 10.00....used for over a year with good accuracy...didn't use with my two other pregnancies since they were "surprises!"

I used the Walgreens brand BBT thermometer and never had a problem with it. It was always consistent.

I used the oral BD thermometer. it worked fine...I liked it because it had a memory and a light display.

I just started using the BD digital... I really like it better than the "old fashioned" one I was using before.

Ok. talked with someone more reliable and was told that the one I'm using is Fine.

Thanks so much all of you. I don't know why I freak out over such small, silly things, but I was so freaked yesterday that I thought my charts were messed up b/c I wasn't using a good enough thermometer!

thanks again ya'll
