Hello Everyone! I see that I should have introduced myself here before posting anything else. Whoops! My name is Sharon Beth and I have been married for just over a year to the most wonderful man. I went to a christian school K-12 and graduated Cum Laude from Binghamton University. I was a social worker for 12 years before switching gears and working in the property management field. That's where I met my husband. I have had my share of ups and downs and I now see that the Lord was walking with me, even when I wasn't walking with him as closely as I should have been. I thank God for his grace and patience every day.

I was adopted and honestly thought God had skipped over me when he installed "maternal clocks" since the idea of becoming a mom was so foreign to me. But now at 35, I realize He had a plan for my life and was way out in front, preparing a path for this baby. I just needed the right man and to follow the right plan, His will. Better late than never! I'm 18 weeks and due on July 22nd. We'll be having a beach baby for sure and couldn't be happier with where God has placed us. I am here to make new friends, pray, encourage, listen, cry and vent. I'm so excited to get to know you all!

Thanks for reading :o)

Hi Sharon again! You're practically exactly a month behind me - neat! I'm 40 and about to enjoy our 12th blessing with us at the start of summer! :-D And history has it - that I'm always late so this cute little youngun might be born near my birthday (the 26th). :-D
Are you planning on having an ultrasound in a couple of weeks? Have you heard the heartbeat already? That's always the fun reassuring part. :-D

Oh that's awesome! We're near each other's due date and age! You're the pro though so I'll be full of questions and happy to receive your advice! I don't wish you a delivery past your due date but it would be such a blessing to have your baby on your birthday! My husband is his Aunt's birthday present as well :o)

We had an early ultra sound at 6 1/2 weeks and saw the heartbeat shining like a little start. So beautiful! We heard the heartbeat on doppler at 14 weeks strong at 160bpm. Heard the heartbeat again yesterday at my checkup and it was 150-155 bpm. The midwife is scheduling my level 2 ultrasound for next week so hopefully we'll know if it's going to be Abel David or Naomi Grace we'll be welcoming into our family. You're right, we are so reassured every time we hear the heartbeat. The midwife says this is a near perfect pregnancy! Just the abnormal pap so I don't know what's up with that but we'll trust in God to watch over me.
