darcel 02-22-2011, 08:52 PM Hello! I wanted to introduce myself and give you a brief overview of my situation. My husband and I have been TTC for 5 months now. I realize that's not a long time. But I went into this so naively. We are both in our early 30s. I thought we had everything lined up. We have good jobs. I researched having a baby months before we decided to start trying. I learned about timing TTC with ovulation, how to look at CM, etc. I started taking prenatal vitamins to build up the folate. I figured all there was left to do was have a little fun BD! Not so much. Because I went into this so naively, I quickly found myself on the emotional roller coaster of the 2ww and the sadness of getting AF. Meanwhile, family members, close friends, and friends on facebook keep popping up pregnant left and right. This all has quickly become so hard. This past Friday I started AF and just broke down. I sat in the bathroom before work crying softly so that I wouldn't wake my dh. I was ashamed that I wasn't coping well. My dh tries to tell me it will happen in God's time, but it's still very hard. I've looked at other boards with women helping each other with TTC, but still left the sites not really feeling better. So on Friday I googled "christians tyring to conceive" and came upon this site. Within 30 minutes of looking at the threads I immediately felt better. So I signed up and here I am. No one may read this or have the time to respond, but for those of you who do, I really appreciate you. I just want you to know that you are a blessing to not only those who post, but for those of us who may be browsing looking for some comfort.

I never though of it, even.. remotely... ever thought we could struggle with infertility. Was pretty much a foreign concept when we were married and started to try right away. Can remember when it started to sink in tho.. [sadashamed] ((hugs)) Feel free to jump right in on the ttc forum.

buttercup_97140 02-23-2011, 09:45 PM Welcome!! Before I knew the Lord my Dh and I tried for 5 years and had two miscarriages before we were blessed with our Emma. I got saved when I was about 20 weeks preggo with her and know the Lord used my losses and TTC journey to bring me closer to Him.
So in a nutshell my Dh and I went from infertile and needing clomid to conceive to super fertile and got preggo with #4 and 5 (our twins) without any meds! LOL!
Our God is so good and knows our hearts desires even more than we do. I praise Him for that, and for His love in wanting to give us those desires. I pray for the Lords will in your life and if it's His will for you to have a sweet little one, that it happens quickly!
Let us know how we can continue praying for you!!
Blessings,
Amber

The TTC journey is indeed an emotional roller coaster. Praying you have a very short ride. I know it's difficult seeing that BFN or AF, but know that our Lord provides us with the strength to move on and try again. Just come here and share and feel His love. There are some great folks here!

angelaimz 02-26-2011, 05:23 PM Hi Darcel
I am new here too, and similar situation to you, we are a bit younger but been ttc for about the same time as you and I've experienced the rollercoaster of emotions of the 2ww, I found this was made worse by other forums and the obsession of symptom spotting on them, and some even encouraging gail readings(? some kind of fortune telling), so it is nice to find people to encourage us to wait for God's timing.
