Now that my 13 month old is on the move, he has been having a lot more falls, stumbles etc. Anyway I know he hit his mouth the other day, but it wasn't until later I realized that he had chipped a little bit off his front top tooth! Should I be concerned? It doesn't look like the tooth is turning black or anything! I wasn't sure if that was soemthing I needed to take him to the dentist for or not? We just moved and we don't have a dentist yet!
TIA

my son did that when he turned around and ran full force into the corner of the wall....uh! I didn't notice it until later either.....several months later though it did start to discolor and turn into a cavity......I'd have it checked out if I were you, also so you know that it isn't sensitive either. No fun holding a 2 year old down for a filling....believe me! LOL

Don't sweat it.
My dd smacked hers on a glass table top  I just saw a puff of dust fly from her mouth.
As long as it's just the tip chipped and you keep things clean, it's alright.
My husband asked a dentist friend about it shortly after our incident and he said it was fine, keep it clean, as usual, and all will be well.

Now if it were a huge chunk or close to the gum, I'd go in. But a little chip at the tip...no biggy.

All of my kids have chipped a tooth in some way shape or form, I do believe. All baby teeth that have continued on perfectly healthy, no issues, permanent teeth have come in (on the elders) just as healthy as ever.

Speaking professionally as a dental assistant, I recommend that you have periodic checks done on yourself as well as your little ones. However, unless the tooth is hurting your little one, a slight chip won't cause problems with his future teeth, and since it is a baby tooth, it will eventually fall out. If there is no decay or pain, it is usually best to leave it alone. If you are really concerned, simply call a local dentist office and ask if you can stop by and have a dental professional look at the tooth. Good luck!

Is it wiggly? My sons were wrestling when they were younger and my 2 year old got his two front teeth knocked hard and the dentist ended up pulling them. (He was toothless for years!!) If it's just chipped that's one thing... if the tooth wiggles, though, maybe I'd have it checked out.

I would definitely have it checked by a dentist just to make sure everything is okay with it. He will have that tooth until he is around 6 years old and you want it to be as healthy as can be.
