Some evenings Rhiana doesn't want me to read from her kids bible or even pray with me. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to help her get interested? Could it just be a stage she is going through? Should I be concerned? I just want to know if I need to do something to encourage her.

I wouldn't worry about it. My kids have all done this at one time or another. It is a good opportunity to explain to her "why" we read the Bible and what prayer is. It was suddenly more important when they understood the reasons behind it. I would also make sure the reading and praying time stays short and understandable for her age. :)

I bought a new childrens bible :) change it up a little so its not the same boring pictures, that seemed to help, and read from a childrens devotional(we like veggie tales) so its not the same thing everyday and they learn something new too and you jump around in the bible with a devotional (well some devotionals you do :) ) and they always pick what we pray about first and then I help on what I feel is important for them to be praying about.....but dont give up this stage will pass at least mine always did :)
