It ties into our "misused bible verses" thread in C/T.

Last month someone used Mary's promise on me, Luke 1:42; that one in particular was a first. I get a lot of God is a genie type statements/out of contexts. I think it makes some childless feel judged and unwelcome at least once they are beyond childbearing age.. as a whole I hear a lot of painful church stories. Remembering in particular one lady who was mobbed after the mother's day service I think, with a group of ladies giving her advice and probably some of these promises that were messaged to a particular saint way back when. (Infertility in church is a hot topic!)

as for being childless as a punishment...I know one of the most Godly woman who is not only childless but unmarried....and she is a huge light for the Lord. I know she is NOT being punished by being alone, she is being and has been used for over 60 years on this earth. the Lord has a plan and it is perfect for glorifying Him!!

I pray all of you who have a desire for a child is blessed, but Praise the Lord we know if a womb is not opened its because the Lord has a different plan and it will be wonderful! I pray for you all and love you all!!!

I signed up. It's a good mix of ttc for 4+ years, for those just starting on this journey, and for those who have decided children aren't in their future. I am on another forum that is 99% the later.
