We have decided to start for baby #2 since our little one is 20mnths now. And we are comfortable with everything that comes with her bladder issues...since she will still be on meds until she is five yrs old and we know the blessed Lord has healed her cause her last appt. the doctor said that it was "very abnormal not have anymore problems or surgeries with her condition". So bladder reconstruction surgery fears are going away now. Though we are aware if we have another little girl she has a higher chance of having the same thing. At least this time we will know with ultrasounds and such when our child is in the womb. Then they can do immediate surgery and our next little one will not have to go through what our Lilly has.
We are excited and have baby names picked out already. If a boy we know we will def. be naming him after my father...As you may know he is terminal. My parents are so over joyed with the news of a new grand baby. It's saddening that we can not share the same joy with my husband's parents.
I would love prayer though. We see our family doctor 3/2/07. For a full female check up and to ask some questions...like the risk of me having diabetes again..that sort of thing. Also if things look good for us. Cause with Lilly I was told I was barron and could have no children. Though the Lord seen fit for me to be a mother. Praise be to him! We are also considering adoption of a toddler as well....maybe down the road. So we can use some prayer and see where the Lord leds us. Maybe biological children is not in his plan for us...so we will see. A child is a child and no matter where they come from...I can't imagine loving them any different than if they come from my womb.
Right now we are excited. We can't wait to have another little one. I think my daughter is going to love being a big sis.
