This year I was going to purchase some long undies for the kids for when they play outside since sometimes we go outside in bitter cold!.... anyhow, that would be $$ out of pocket. I was having a hard time finding appropriate long johns anyhow, especially the sizes I needed, at a price I liked. I mean $20 for kids' underwear is ridiculous.

Instead I'm taking DH's old winter tube socks and they are wearing those under their jeans when they go outside, lol. They go up to their mid-thigh, so tube socks + jeans+ snowpants keeps them quite warm :-) And, I don't have to put socks on them. haha!

Haha.. thanks for the tip Cheese! I know one year Brooke used some hand me down soccer socks frm her cousin. They were too big for her but it was perfect to keep her legs extra warm. :D
