My third had another scary nose bleed today. Put the Afrin on a cotton ball but it still kept coming! :shock: I can't wait for next Thursday's appointment. It is weird his nose will look swollen and after one of those nose bleeds it sure seems as if it is smaller somehow. Then I got to thinking that somehow there is blood getting stored up there or blocked somehow till it gets full enough...I don't know. :? But it is NOT fun dealing with these. Scary stuff! :shock:

Do you know what might be causing them? Allergies or sinus maybe? I hope he gets better. Keep us posted.

My dd has just in the past week had two very long nosebleeds. I have no solutions, but she's just put a cold compress on the bridge of her nose for a while until it stops. Part, I'm sure, is due to the dry weather. We slacked for a bit and didn't put water in the humidifier, but the last week, hubby has kept it full. She's had a bad cold too, and has been blowing her nose a lot, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I hope you are able to find a helpful solution. I'm sorry I can't give any wisdom or advice. I've just come to expect her to have these a couple of times every winter, and she has. ugh!

MY problem is that he has 3 or so moderate ones a day! :shock: And has been having horribly massive ones with huge clots for 15 minutes and longer, well, 2 of those in the past week. :? Thanks for your prayers and support! Just another bump in road of parenting! :D God is faithful!
