So I'm on Day 16 of this cycle, but since I don't usually O till Day 18 or 19 I'm not technically in the 2ww yet...

According to my OPK I'm getting ready to O soon, so I'm right on track. And fortunately, dh and I have discovered quickies... They seriously take the pressure off! Lol

Who knows, maybe more frequent practice is just what we need...

So I'm officially in my 2ww... Got a neg opk earlier tonight!
I'm hoping dh will be willing to try again tomorrow morning just to try and 'seal the deal'. But I'm still going to try and not get my hopes up. It helps with dealing with the disappointment later, kwim? Lol

Oh man... I'm not feelin' it ladies...
I don't think this is our month. :( Not feeling any symptoms beyond the normal, and it's been like this every other month, so I don't see why this month should be any different.
Please pray for me that I'd come through this cycle with my hope intact and ready to try again. I'm starting to get discouraged - already! Lol Usually I save these feelings for after AF shows up! Lol

Ugh! I may not be pregnant, but my schnozz is certainly still working better than usual! NOT a good time to be in a mall... WAY too many people who don't seem to know what deodorant is! Lol

When do implantation pains happen? I'm 6 days past O and had some sharp pains on my left side tonight, and I'm thinking it was probably just gas... But I'm wondering...?
Usually I get sharp pains on my right side where I've got lots of scar tissue from my removed appendix, so this kinda took me by surprise.

just looked it up. Implantation happens 7-10 days after O. I know how easy it is to loose hope, and it does seem like a roller coaster of emotions. (((hugs))) hang in there. Thats great about the quickies. dh and I ttc for 14 months it wasn't until I learned I just needed to bd all the time that we got pregnant. there were a ton of quickies during that time. We were literally bding every 2-3 days the whole month. Also I don't know if you have a tilted uterus, but I do, and I found that instead of raising your legs I would just lay normal for the 5-10 min. that way the sperm didn't pool behind my uterus. I'm cheering for you and hoping for you[claploud][claploud][claploud]

Ditto to Becky. I have a tipped uterus/cervix too and my midwife told me that laying normal is the best thing to do for it. I sure hope and pray this is your cycle Hun!

Thanks for all the support ladies! I've had lots of ultrasounds and have never been told anything about having a tilted uterus, but it always kinda made sense to me to lay flat instead of having semen pool around the cervix and not be able to get through it!
I'll keep everyone updated.

Hey.

I don't know if you've ever looked into this but when I read that you've had your appendix out, some flags went up and I got thinking..... I've heard of people having trouble conceiving because of blockage of the fallopian tubes due to appendicitis. I started looking it up and read some interesting things... I'll share:

Thanks for all that info! I wondered about that possibility myself, but I've had an HSG and both my tubes are clear. I have a feeling ours is a MFIF issue (male factor infertility). My dh appears to have fragile X syndrome but has never been positively tested for it.

I'm a little discouraged to be honest. My girls hurt less than yesterday and I'm craving chocolate. Two clear AF symptoms for me. Sigh.

Well, I've got zits coming out, I'm completely emo, my boobs are getting sore again and I'm having what feels like light cramps. Can anyone translate those symptoms for me? Anyone? (Bueller? Bueller? Lol)

Sigh. I hate this part of the 2ww. I feel like just POAS tomorrow morning to get the waiting over with. That would be 12 dpo. Is that enough to really know?

Grr. I'm so up and down these last couple of days. I don't want this cycle to get me off my game, but I'm feeling like I might not be able to hold it together if it's another BFN. :(

It depends on when implantation happens, really. I've had bfps at 8, 10, 12, and 16 dpo with different pregnancies. The 16 dpo bfp I got after I had several earlier bfns... So, that one came much later, and after I was already prepared to get af that cycle. ::snort:: still praying for you gal!!

It can be so hard to know early, especially if you normally experience the usual PMS symptoms every month. Every one of my pregnancies felt just like PMS beforehand. I had horrible cramps, sore boobs, slight tummy upset, fatigue.. Just like PMS. I ALWAYS thought AF was coming. [crytantrum] Out of 8 pregnancies, only one did I 'know' early (I was already throwing up, hehe!).

I'm also a slow hCG builder, so pregnancy tests produced BFN's until way past my AF due dates (which were like clockwork during those years). Even quantitative hCG blood draws produced negative results with my kiddies.

I'm really sorry, hon, I know the wait is the worst, painful emotional roller coaster. [flagsurrender]

Praying for peace for you, my friend. [praywhensad]

Thanks for all your support ladies... You're so good to me!
It really IS frustrating to have to keep waiting... I mean, my spotting got worse thru the day, but my boobs are still sore - which they're not usually at this point in the cycle. At least as far as I can remember. Lol.
I got a BFN this morning, but I'm not expecting AF to show up till Monday. The way things have been going today, though, I wouldn't be surprised if she starts her visit tomorrow. Will update when I can.

Well, she showed up this afternoon. So I guess I'm learning about new symptoms that aren't really new. The intensity of them hits me every month - so much so that I can't imagine how intense they must be when you ARE pregnant!

Oh well... She's a day early, so we get to try a day earlier too this cycle!
