I am starting my 13th month without PPAF which I have to say is the longest ever for me - it is also the first time I have not had to go back to work full time (PTL!!!!) after giving birth so I am sure that has something to do with it.

I took my temp this morning (97.4) and started a chart just in case my eggs are being sneaky. I am wondering how long this will last.

How about everyone else? Has anyone gone a looooong time without any sign of AF and not been pg?

19.5 months with DD and 14 months with DS. I likely would've gone longer with DS but I actively night weaned him at 12 months. I ovulated 6 weeks after I nightweaned. Make sure to watch your CM closely. Both times, I ovulated before having PPAF.

I am at 14 months here and nothing yet. I have been charting for two months. This is the longest I have ever gone too. [sheepjumpingrope]

For me it was end of April 2002 and didn't get a period until may 2005 (got pregnant in May, had a miscarriage, got pregnant with Jake(and his twin)before my period returned, then when Jake was 10 months(still no period) i got pregnant with Grayce(had her in Dec 04) and it returned in May 2005!!!

mine was kind of like Lori's Had Sarah in 2009, six months pp got pregnant without my PPAF return. We will see how long it takes with Katie.

Ok so this might last a while longer - nice to know- thanks ladies! I am kind of liking the vacation. If it lasts until she weans that would be even better :mrgreen:

My longest was about 13 or 14 months. It was with Mak and she actually nursed less at that point than Emma did, but I got it back at 9 months PP with her. My shortest was 6 weeks after Noah, even though Emma nursed A LOT after that....guess my body knew we wanted to get pg again soon! The Lord is so great! I hope that now that I will be having two babies nursing it will stay away a lot LONGER!! I love not having AF!!

You guys are SO LUCKY!!!!! I exclusively nursed on demand and mine showed up 6-8 WEEKS after they were born with all 4 of mine. The bleeding would barely stop from them being born and there would be good ol AF.[whatwacko] ACK!

*I will not be jealous...I will not be jealous...I will not...* :lol: I was exclusively bfing Ashlyn and my first ppaf was at 10 weeks. We're now at 15 and I'm still waitin' on the second one.

Mine usually showed up - no matter how long I nursed or vigorously nursed - at about 9 to 10 months. Couldn't delay it - it would show up whether I liked it or not. :-D Then....... after about 3 to 6 periods - you guessed it - the Lord blessed us with another pregnancy afterward.:-D
