37 Week Update

I had a doctor's appointment today and everything looks great.

I have to go next Wednesday (the 21st) for a NST. After that, I'll go see my doctor.

Then, I will be induced on the 28th! That's if I don't go in labor before then. I am so very excited to finally see my little baby!

I only have one concern which may seem petty but it means a lot to me. They are going to start inducing me around 4pm. The doctor I have been seeing will deliver the baby as long as the baby comes that night sometime. The next morning, the other doctor in the office is on call. I have only seen her once during this pregnancy and I really don't know her that well. The few times I have seen her (between this pregnancy and my last), we just didn't click. Does that make sense? Anyway, I'm so praying the baby comes while Dr. K is on call! If you think of it, maybe you guys can say a little pray for me as well.

With my first, the same issue came up. My doctor was on vacation the weekend I went into labor. I ended up being delivered by a male doctor...which I didn't want. But he was amazing and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I'll be praying that it all works out. [prayer]

Keeping you in my prayers. The Dr. I had with first dd we clicked but she had a few minor issues and I got over them....plus she was the only Dr. in her office. The problem was when it came time to deliver Mady I was scheduled to be induced and she had checked on me throughout the day...well when it got time to push I felt everything even with my epi well come to find out my tube for my epi came out and medicine was all over my pillow not in me.....well they called the Dr. and said I was ready to start pushing and ok then called her and said I might need some help pushing well her office was right across the street.....my NURSE delivered Mady and the Dr. showed up about 2 minutes later.....I switched to a different Dr. with Emma and loved him. I know how you feel with the not clicking with the other Dr. though. Good luck and keep us posted
