I have noticed that throughout the bleeding and since the bleeding stopped (during 4 1/2 weeks pregnancy) that my cervix was really high and only as open as it always is (since having vaginal births). Does this maybe mean it was only a threatened miscarraige????

Could the doctor do an ultrasound or some sort of blood test? Maybe that would help you find out what is really going on.

Did blood test yesterday to check HCG levels. Should get results tomorrow (Thursday). Will keep you posted.
I did a preg test yesterday and came up negative, so either I lost the baby or the test isn't sensitive enough???? It was a different brand, and I can't find any info on it's sensitivity levels.
Either way, I'll find out soon enough.
Thanks for your prayers. We told the kids last night, and our 10 yr old is convinced that God will perform a miracle - she is praying hard. Our 5 yr old girl cried and said it was so sad, our 6 yr old boy said he wished it was a boy and was ok...

Yes. Just found out the HCG level is so low it's definite that I lost the baby.
Just feeling numb at the minute. Have to go do homeschooling - probably good to keep my mind off things until hubby comes home.
