Okay, so when I can I catch any baby/kid related show on Discovery Health. Right now I'm watching a special called "Twins, Twins, and more Twins." I thought it was going to be about different families, wrong! The story revolves around one family that started out with the mother and 6 boys from a previous marriage. When her new husband and she decided to add their own children to the family, what came was a few sets of twins. Yeah, a few... First a set of boys, then a single girl, then a set of girl twins, then two more boys (who were born 4 mo. prematurely,...not sure that they will survive through the show... you know how that goes... UPDATE--They made it :)), and two more on the way! 13 kids! Yikes!

I only have 1, with another on the way. People have joked about this being twins, but I do not feel that is a possibility. I don't know... Anyway, I think it is amazing those of you who have lots and lots of kids! What a blessing, and what a learning process. More Power (from Him) to you!

LOL, no kidding! We just got a new book in the library I work in called: Extreme Makeover the Home Edition, Behind the Scenes... or something like that. Anyway, it covers a bunch of the ins and outs of the families they've helped, and the houses they've built. :) Gotta love it!

Oh my...
But mind you, I know of a couple of people that have 2 sets of twins.
First person was my first gynea. He had twin girls, and eventually had the courage to try again (for a boy) and they had another set of twins.

I don't go to him anymore - so i don't know how they doing... but he has 4 girls now.

Then, a couple at our church. They have 2 sets of twins - one is 2 daughters, the other is a son & daughter pair.

I guess it depends on how strong the "twin" gene is in your blood or something.. :)

But think of it, instead of carrying for 18 months to get 2m you carry for 9 months (or less).
:)
All the best anyway!

I'm with you, I only have 2 kids and couldn't imagine having more right now. I cant imagine having that many all at the same time. I guess God gives you the strenth. How many times have I been told "He won't give you anything he knows you are not strong enough to handle." He must think that family is VERY strong!!!

Oh that was the special on the Healy family, right? They have an online photo album http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g296/ThreeSetsOfTwins/?

I love watching specials about big families! The Duggars are another family that I like to watch shows about; there was just one about them building a bigger house - they have 16 children and #17 is one the way - I am not sure if the Healys are Christian or not, but the Duggars are:

I definitely think God looked at us and said, "Nope, definitely not strong enough to handle it!" Some of our close friends had twins a year ago on Christmas Day. (I know, not only TWINS, but CHRISTMAS too!!!!) They had a two year old as well, all boys. I was just thinking the other day that she got 3 kids out of 15 months of pregnancy (the twins were 2 months early, and the other one a month early)... I mean, really how lucky can you get! For most of us it would take 27 months!!!
