Wanted To Share-UPDATE

I just thought I would share what is coming up that I am really excited about. This Saturday I am having a "Baby Prayer Lunch" to pray for and celebrate the coming of Titus. No one had offered to throw a shower this time around and I wanted to do something special to celebrate Titus coming, so I pondered it and came up with having a lunch with my family/friends and have each person bring a notecard with a prayer for Titus and their favorite verse to share with him. I will put these then in his baby book. I am so excited about it. This is especially meaningful since we are still going through his having fluid on the brain in the ultarsounds and are believing God for his healing and I am looking forward to covering him in prayer as the Bible says "Where two or more are gathered in agreement..." Only 5 weeks to go before I see his precious little face!

I think that is a wonderful idea, maybe something I will borrow for ours that's due this summer.

So your are the one. :D I have been praying for Titus for so long now but couldn't remember who he went with...I am so glad that you are encouraged by this prayer meeting. Please know that though I cannot be there I have been interceding for him for many weeks now and will continue to do so! [prayer] Keep us posted. I am so glad you made this post. :D I had even put a post out a few weeks back asking if anyone had news on Lillie and Titus. Well, at least one is known now! That sounds like a wonderful idea! I will continue to pray for healing for your son. I have my next u/s to check ds # 2's fluid levels this coming Friday, but I still have about 15 weeks till I meet my baby - how wonderful that you will meet Titus so soon :D

I wanted to write and say that the lunch was precious. Everything was so special. My friends and family who came were the dearest to me and they were all so excited to be there. I wasn't prepared for it to be so emotional. We all sat down and everyone read their prayer and verse for Titus. I couldn't help but cry with the sweet words everyone lifted up for Titus. What a blessing! There was definitely a common theme, a lot of people picked out Psalm 139 verses for Titus, which was awesome since DH and I had read that chapter the night before during out quiet time. The Lord had definitely given that to us for a reason. It was just such a wonderful day. We had the most beautiful cake that a friend of my mom made for us with a little baby covered in a blanket. We couldn't eat that part of the cake, it was edible, but we just couldn't, so we froze it and will have Titus eat a little of it for his birthday probably. I think that would be really special. Anyway, God is so good and continues to encourage us to keep the faith and believe in His promise to bring Titus to us completely healthy!
