What's the longest your infant has gone without pooping? I remember with DS1 he didn't poop for about 3 days and it concerned me a little. But then, of course, it came.
I know babies who are strictly breastfed can come to a point where they aren't pooping every day cause the breast milk is such a pure diet that there's little waste. I read a woman claiming her son didn't poop for 13 days! That seems so long! It's nice in the CD area, but it still doesn't seem right to me!
I massage his tummy a bit and exercise his legs some and he seems to be doing fine. But at what point would you be concerned?

My ped said she has seen babies go up to 10 days and be fine. I think the most my babies have gone without going here would be 4-5 days at most. As long as the baby is urinating regularly and not lethargic at all, no signs of abdominal discomfort, I wouldn't worry.

Yeah that. My babes have gone without a BM for what seems like forEVER and then just as I'm about to take them to the ped about it, or at LEAST call the nurse, baby lets a big one go. Oy. ::snort:: Funny how those first few months can be so worrisome! Seems like, at least for me, once they hit about five or six months... things just feel so much more relaxed, things have a routine, even babe's BMs. :) Sure hope baby poos for you soon! ::snort:: :)

Every baby is different. I remember with abby she was a once a week pooper, Micah was an every couple of days kinda guy, and lydia was (and still is lol) a 3-4x a day pooper! As long as he doesn't seem to be in any pain I wouldn't worry. Sometimes health professionals like to lump every baby into the same dough but they are all different!
