I just recently visited the Babywearer site and they had a link to the Yahoo group. Apparently the gov't is doing a knee-jerk reaction by persecuting Mom and Pop businesses that in any way resemble the bag slings that caused infant deaths recently (and I'd go so far as to say that it wasn't the slings that are mainly at fault). I read about it and wrote the following:

I feel like I'm the only one posting in here, but I wanted to make sure all the doulas and midwives saw that I have a directory on my site for pregnant Moms who are interested in natural childbirth to look through. I'd love to see it filled with every doula and midwife I know of so as to provide those pregnant Mamas with LOTS of options! :-D

After you list your business, I add your business website (if you have one) to the toolbar I created for the site. Once on the toolbar, everyone who downloads it will be just a click away from your business website! It's like having an internet natural childbirth worker address book!

You can also grab a button to add to your website which directs your clients to your listed business page so they can leave feedback and ratings on your services!

Thanks in advance for filling the directory! If you're not a birth worker, but loved the job your doula or midwife did for you, send them the link to list their business. When they do you can go back and let everyone know how much they rocked at your birth!

I've been blogging on natural living... making herbs/tinctures... making food from scratch... life on the farm... and now alot about my journey with Lyme Disease and what I am doing naturally to bring healing back to my body.

With lyme I fight yeast and parasites, so my boys also have yeast really bad!! We have had a very interesting journey... But God is so faithful and has lead us on some pretty amazing paths. Our diet has change ALOT in the last 6mths... (since we found out I have lyme.)
