I can hear the washer and the dryer going in the laundry room, Chloe' playing with her doll house (the clunk, clunk of the little plastic dolls' feet as she makes them walk), the clink silverware on a plate as Scotty makes his lunch downstairs in the kitchen, and a clip-clip noise coming from the kids' bathroom as Carissa curls her hair with the curling iron.
