Hello all! I'm glad to find this board. It looks like I'm going to like it here!

I'm a mother who's learning to be more natural in my mothering approach. Jesus is also teaching me to be more soft, sweet, gentle - basically more feminine - too. I've been home schooling for 6 years and have had 3 unassisted pregnancies and 2 unassisted home births (my first one was what I call a solo-Christo UC! [clapping]).

Aside from that I love Jesus and have spiritual gifts of faith and helps!

P.S. - I LOVE the color scheme in here!!!!

I'm actually not from Indiana, we just live here now. I'm from "'Da Boogie Down" Bronx, NY!!!:mrgreen: I have NO IDEA where Freemont is. I've been here 9 years and STILL haven't figured out all he different counties and cities and towns. I need to get with it!

Linda Healey in Battle Creek, MI is my regular midwife. At my 2nd birth, I had Kim Woodard (backup, since my MW was at another birth). I've never had a doula, but I'm interested in hiring one if I have any more children.

Doulas seem to be pretty cool. I like the hands off of birth unless they're a birth doula. I should say I like the idea because I've never had one. I was trying to get one with my first home birth. She was offering a chef and baby sitting care! I thought I was planning for a vacation! :-D

Yes, I am! Die hard to the end. I got it from my Grandpa and keep the love going in his memory. I like talking sports too, although football is my thing. Don't say you're a Saints fan or else I'll puke...:-D Jus' kiddin', but seriously I am a HUGE football fan so y'all will probably hear from me when the season starts back up. I'm usually glued to the NFL channel. I know they say the season never ends, but I can't get with all the trading and mini-camps...I rather wait for the real thing. Right now I'm into tennis. BTW, did anyone else catch that EPIC and HISTORIC 5th set that lasted two days!!!?!?!?? I think Mahut threw it! I'm so mad at him....I also keep an eye on Tiger. Seems to be doing better on his swing since he axed his help.....anyway y'all are probably bored out your mind reading all that. Sorry...just had to send a shout out for the Yanks!!!!

Well...I don't really know about the roads. I do know we took 69 all the way up and eventually ended up in SB. :-D

Yeah, I'm no stranger to message boards. I practically live on them. I'm in a situation where I hardly get to talk or meet with other Moms so online is where it's at for me right now.
