As our son prepared for college, I gave him this admonition: "At the university you will be approached with all manner of sins. I am not asking that you do not participate. I would hope that you would not, but I refuse to try to play the Holy Spirit hovering above you. However, if you ever find yourself in sin, ask yourself if there is a lift in your spirit. If not, stop what you are doing. All your life I have taught you about Christ, and now life itself will teach you."
