My 4 yr old ds is driving me BaTtY!!! With his eating. He wants to eat ALLThe time and even when hes eating, when hes on his last bite he talking with his mouth full, saying "something to eat"

for breakfast he would have cereal, 2 pieces of toast and a yogurt and a drink and STILL want more. I dont know if he is really still hungry or doing it as a habit now. he does this ALL DAY!!! it drives me nuts, hes going into the fridge and sneaking food now.

whats up???

It could just be he is getting ready for a growth spurt. My kids are big eaters all the time...but if it's right before a growth spurt...you'd swear they were refugees who had'nt eaten a decent meal in months!

My money is on the growth spurt too....especially if this is not typical. Just make sure all this extra eating he's doing is all good food....fruit, veggies, whole grain crackers, glass of milk.....that way you kknow he's not doing it to get extra junk food! The only thing I'd put an end to immediatly is the sneaking of food....talk with him about this and tell him he can always have whatever he needs to be fulfilled tummy-wise, but let him know that this is not acceptable and that their will be consequences and let him know what those will be.....this can set up a problem later if it continues.
The eating a lot though, I wouldn't worry, little boys grow in big spurts many times, I know my son does! I just keep the snacks healthy and low cal/fat and make sure we do more activity than usual those times!

Yeah, probably a growth spurt.
But be sure to talk to him about only eating if he's honestly hungry. Try to space him out to 5 or 6 'meals' a day. (your 3 regular meals and 2 snacks during the day is fine)
Just make sure you offer good, filling, healthy foods :)
Lots of fruits n veggies, good carbs, whole grains. Grab some granola bars, pb crackers, make some smoothies.
Start the day with 'bigger', more filling breakfasts. Try some oatmeal. My kids have oatmeal or other hot cereal every day with a piece of fruit. It stays with them :)
