Not sure exactly what's going on, but he's not pooping everyday like before :(
Last week on Tuesday was his last poop until Friday morning, then GEZZ LOUISE he pooped the MOTHER LOAD!
Yesterday my Mother watched him while Rachel & I worked our 8hour shift and she said he only ate 3oz for the day. Rachel & I was working again today and he's with his other Grandma, she say's he's not eating for her :(
Rachel asked her to feel his tummy she say's it's soft?!
His doctor's office isn't open now gotta call tomorrow, UGH!!!
I thought my C' sisters had some words of advice to help Her feel better [crossheld]

is she breastfeeding? Breastfed babies don't have BM everyday. What about when the baby does go? is there a lot of pain, hard pushing and hard stool? if so then the baby is constipated, if the baby just hasn't pooped in a couple then I'm pretty sure it's okay. If the baby is in pain, well that's a different story and in that case I would squirt a little soapy water up the hiney hole with the blue bulb a few times.

Yeah, if he's on breastmilk only, he doesn't need to poop everyday. He can go for days without a poop and be completely normal. Is his poo hard?

I agree with the other ladies, breastfed babies don't poop every single day. In fact even going 2-4 days can be normal for a while. As long as he is urinating every day, pretty much after every feeding and doesn't seem to be in alot of pain or straining to poop and nothing comes out he should be ok.
Also about him not eating much when mommy is away - is this the first time he has not eaten much or is it a pattern that he waits until he sees his mommy to eat?

She says the last bm he seemed to PUUUUSH :( I think she's worried because she gave him formula. When it came out it SMELLED SO BAD it was watery with lil chunks. I was thinking maybe it's the formula but it's the one the doctor told her.
He eats like a bird and it's as if she's producing just enough milk to feed him so the formula is for emergency.
I'm gonna tell her to leave a mesage with the doctor but maybe we can watch and see how he does.
THANK YA'LL [loveyou]

I feel like I give the same response all the time....
Constipation in babies *can* be relieved by a quick and easy visit to a chiropractor. A baby adjustment feels more like a massage to the baby and when we see a constipated baby they usually fill the diaper before they leave the office and again later that day...maybe another adjustment or so and they are regular, for awhile anyway.
Please note, I am not making a medical diagnosis, I am just suggesting a potiential solution.
