i was wondering why everyone chose their avatars and signatures.



mine..i like what it says..and find it to be true..and i like the colors and how it changes..

i thought my siggy was cute w/i'm the mommy thats why.cause that sure explains alot to kids...and the army issued one i liked it and thought it was neat..

My 22 month old loooves Kermit, so I like that she sees him while she sometimes watches me on here.

Signature is pretty self explanatory. Tells you about my family.

Now, my username is a combo of my name, kristina, and hubby's eric.

oh for my username...my dh and i always tell each other that "u rock" and i tell that to my ds too..so i came up w/rocking baby..

Thats cool Rocking baby! Im gen and thats why I picked my username. I liked that pic of my julie and her goofy toothless smile. I might put some others in my signature. Im not so creative in the computer graphics dept. so I tend to keep it simple. :wink:

my avatar is a picture of a lily my husband took in my aunts backyard on Easter 2005. I loved it so much, especially because it goes so well with the scripture I picked for my signature. It just reminds me every day that no matter how I see myself or what i think i lack, that God sees me as beautiful and complete because He made me and cares for me.

i picked soulmom for my username because I want to be a mommy that is well rounded in raising my kids, caring for them physically and spiritually, making sure to nourish their bodies and their souls...

Well, the my name is my username, and my avatar is just one that I really liked. Like Gen, I need to keep it pretty simple!

My user name is sort of pun...when my little bother was starting to talk, he could not say my full name--Rachelle (rhymes with Michelle, it's not Rachel)--he just got out Chelle. That stuck and that is what family and close friends have called me ever since. The Fish part, well, I am all about the Jesus fish. I just love the simplicity of it despite its deep meaning. So I just put them together and made ChelleFish :lol:

I am a penguin NUT, so that is why the avatar.

My signature is just the Jesus fish again.

My avatar is because Daniel LOVES the Muppets! And Animal always makes us laugh.

my username is actually a typo! It was going to be cjtopher but I misspelled and was in before I realized. So I just kept it. Kind of has a ring to it. Not sure why I picked what I did, but it worked!

My avatar is my dh with my two boys. I currently don't have any signature because I haven't found anything that I really want. I had a ticker for how old my boys were, but I couldn't fit two in and there are none for different ages. Just boring ol me!

I picked mommyb for my username b/c I was trying to find a name for a mother and the letter of my first name is B. I also think I was having a hard time finding a name!

My avatar is just b/c it's cute and it moves!

My siggy is b/c it shows my children and I.

I was having a hard time thinking of a username and so I went with KansasMom because we live in the center of the 48 states which is Lebanon Kansas.

My avantar is of my two precious children at Easter 2005. I like to change my picture as I get cute ones.

And my signature line just tells about my family. I haven't really explored other possible signature tags. Maybe I will get inspired through this thread.

I picked my username because it's the one that i normally use and i like it because i'am God's child. I picked my siggy because it's true. Jesus DOES love you! :D And that's something to smile about. :wink:

I picked love2mom, because

1) I have 2 kids
2) My passion and life's ambition is to be a good and godly mom
3) without the love of God, I am nothing

My avatar is just a great pic of me and the boys sharin' the love. Nothing special and yet everything that is special.

My name is from the movie, which is one of my all time favs. I can't seem to get my act together on sigs and avs though! One day! :D

My username is a combo of 2 things that I use to glorify God: music and mommying! As for my avatar - I had one for a while then someone else started using it so, I tried to find another one that no one else had! That was quite a challenge!! I didn't want to steal someone elses identity. (so to speak...) After a lengthy search on the web, I found the cool view of piano keys and it seemed to fit with my username. My signature is just a cool quote from Max Lucado that I can relate to plus my proud relationships!!

My current avatars reflect my favorite t.v. shows. I usually have my baby girl on it, but don't worry, she'll be back soon!! :wink:

My Avatar is because our whole family loves Bear in the Big Blue House. I thing we own all the DVD's. We love to sing and dance with him. He is just so much fun to watch and has always been my girls favorite. My siggy is from one of my fave Steven Curtiss Chapman songs "I am found in you". The quote has been so true in my life. So often when I look at my circumstances, I worry, fret, doubt and wonder how God is at work, but after a situation is over, or "behind me" I can always see God's hand!

My sig expresses what we're about and what we named our homeschool DYPB Do your personal best and I just celebrated 9yrs with hubby in Aug.

I've had many many online ID's, but angelsmom just kinda stuck...used to be angelsmom99 because she's 7...Maybe it still is in some places...I can't remember...Like I said, many many ID's too many to keep up with!

I like to change my avatar and/or sig as the mood strikes, as something else strikes my fancy...

I currently use this avatar because of my new love for Mai Tei baby slings. And I always thought those 'doll maker' things were kinda neat, although, not *me*. The ones on that site were more me than any other doll makers I've seen.

My sig, well, it just briefly tells about me. Sometimes I have the kids names and ages in there. Sometimes I have more of my beliefs, other times none. The ticker cuz I'm so in love with my little man and shamelessly proud of our nursing relationship. I like to include that just to spread the word about breastfeeding and extended nursing...as you'll see him still happily nursing along, past that 1 yr mark ;)

My username, real original, my name. I'm not good with catchy usernames and the like (remember, I'm still working on a homeschool name and don't even get me started on naming a blog!!) I just add the little ~ to be unique. Sometimes that's the difference in me getting my name or not. I just really really hate the process of trying to come up with something else. If I can't sign up with my name, I probably won't sign up LOL Yeah, I despise it that much. :roll:
