Any new milestones this week? Not really. I sure am boring, aren't I?

What are you thankful for in this pregnancy?I'm sleeping well and I don't have aches and pains like I've had this stage in other pregnancies.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally/spiritually?Good, good, and good!

What are you most looking forward to with the arrival of a new baby?Finding out if we are adding another daughter or son to our crew.

No joke. Jen always seemed to give me a new spark of excitement in my pregnancy cause this time around for me there's a lot more aches and pains!
Why is that entire region "down there" so doggon sore all the time? It feels like very achy muscles....VERY achy! I mean from my pubic bone all the way to my groins. I NEVER had these kinds of pains with DC1?? What is up? Especially after laying down for a while and then getting up.
Other than that, I feel pretty good.

Oh man, I know what you're talking about. I think this feeling was worse with Eliya (dd#5) than with any of the other pregnancies. It wasn't near as bad with Wyatt, so that should give other mom's hope that not *every* subsequent pregnancy is going to be as painful. It's weird how some aches and pains skip a pregnancy or two and then BAM on #3 or #4 you get it. I sure hope it eases up for you soon, gal~

It is weird isnt it? I had those pains the worst with my second pg. Oh man.. I couldn't even turn over in bed! I'd get stuck like a turtle on my back! I don't remember having anything comparible to that with my last two pg's and so far things have been great with this one. For me.. I think stairs contributed to my pain. We lived in an apartment for the first 8 months of my second pg and I had to tote the laundry up and down two large flights of stairs (usually with a 2 yr old on my hip). Thats probably what did it for me!

I *completely* know what you're talking about as well - #3 for me is definitely the worst for pains!

Funny you should mention "those" pains, because I've been having them something fierce for several weeks now. At first I thought I pulled a muscle, but they've stuck around long enough for me to realize that it's more than that. And like it was mentioned, I didn't have this issue with the first three. Pregnancy sure is weird! [whatwacko]

On another note, my B/H contractions have really stepped up a notch this past week. One evening I went to get a few things at the store and while they aren't painful, they sure did make me hold my belly, slow down and do the pregnant wobble down a few of the aisles. lol I've been finding that later in the day they are really starting to pick up and get annoying so I'm trying to take it easy in the evenings whenever possible. Oh, and I have a doc appt this Thursday afternoon, so I'm eager to see if my growth has picked up after measuring small last month.

Well, its good to know that these pains are normal...quite common, I guess?
Anyway, someone told me that these pains in this area could be the spreading and stretching of your pelvis and the ligaments in preparation for birthing. Do you think there's any truth to that?

I always had a tendancy to notice them more as a "growth" thing. I would have them pretty much the whole pregnancy but especially painful around a growth spurt of the baby/my belly. But, this could possibly be true, I honestly have no idea~

Interesting idea. I have noticed a few days this week having some of those twinge-like pains I mentioned in a previous thread, and... I think my belly has grown a little lately, too. I still do not feel like I "look" pregnant yet, just like I've gained weight through my middle! I know I have [I]pleeeenty of time to look pregnant, but I'm not so fond of the whole I just feel-like-I'm-getting-fat look....

It is definitely time to do some maternity clothes shopping... FUN!! Aside from the getting to eat more good food, this is a definite plus for me since I LOVE to shop, especially for clothes. I only have one pair of pre-pg pants that fit and actually feel good to wear. They are the kind that have a tie in the waist so you can tighten them or loosen them up. They are a petite size and were always so big before tightening. NOT ANY MORE.... [rofllol] Thought I might be able to get away with wearing my pants with an elastic waist, but those feel so tight around my belly, have to roll the waistband to below or too uncomfortable!

Any new milestones this week? No....

What are you thankful for in this pregnancy? That it is going really well so far, VERY thankful to be in the morning sickness minority! I'm sleeping well also right now and have such a great supportive husband.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally/spiritually? Physically, seems lately like I'm catching one sickness after another, but I think a lot of that is due to extra stress lately of moving and losing our pet. Spiritually, great. Our God is so good.

What are you most looking forward to with the arrival of a new baby? Seeing DS become a big brother... we think he will be an amazing big brother.
