I'm forever on the Aussie Prem Forum these days! Stuck at home with an extreme prem (not allowed to take her out for risk of infection), need to keep in contact with others in the same situation. However, not many of them are Christian.
Please continue to pray for Hayley for miracles. She has been recently diagnosed with Sensory Perception Disorder - Hypersensitivity. She has also gone backwards in her development possibly due to the last bout of Hydracephalus maybe affected her brain. So we are now teaching her (with the help of her OT and Physio) how to do things such as bringing her hands to her mouth etc. Her breathing still seems pretty laboured, please pray for a miracle there too.
Please pray most of all for my relationship with Christ. At this point in time I am only just past the anger stage, and am now struggling with trusting God to heal Hayley. It seems that so far everything that could go wrong has (other than the fact that Hayley is still alive - Praise God), even though thousands all over the world have been praying for miracles for her.:???:

All those that were pregnant when I was last year must have had their bubs by now. How are you all doing - and how are those gorgeous bubs?:-D
Will try to come here more often.

It's good to see you, Kristy! I'm so glad you've found a place where you can talk about issues with Haley. But, you're right; as believers we need the hope and comfort that only Christ (and Christian community) can give. So, we're glad you're still with us, too! The Lord continue to bring you along in this journey with your little girl. He is always, always faithful! [heart]

Hey Kristy,
Thanks for update. I will keep praying for you, your family, and esp, Hayley. The Lord knows all that you're going through and will turn all things to good for those that love Him. We might not see all the good things now and understand them in this world, but we know once we're with Him in heaven, it will all make sense and we can see how and why things worked the way they did. It's not easy now though. And you're doing a great job being a mommy!! And it's OK to have a hard time with everything you've been through and are going through. It's got to be one of the hardest things to go through!!! Keep turning to Him - even if it just admitting you're mad or frightened or unsure or whatever... He loves you. He loves Hayley.

And we love you! Come as you can and need. We'll be praying regardless! [hug]

Oh sweetie I just want to offer you some hugs and prayers. Its so hard to make sense of all God has entrusted us with, and all He wants us to understand. Its okay to question and grow in Christ Kristy. We all have times of struggles in our lives and we must not be afraid to reach out, ask for prayer and ask for encouragement. We are always here for you, always. No matter how long someone is away from this forum they are always moms here willing to pray for you, caring for you isn't measured in amount of posts or amount of time spent here.

Having a premie myself I went through a very rough time. Thought my daughter was a 30 weeker I remember how iscolating that was at a time, feeling so out of touch with the world, as if everyone had forgotten about me. Its hard, lean on your faith, it will carry you through these lonely times. If ever I can encourage you, pray for you or your sweet baby specifically please let me know. even pm anytime.

hugs, hugs, hugs
