Sometimes it feels too easy to feel negative about the pregnancy aches, pains & disappointments... this time of year kinda adds to the blues I think. What are you thankful for today?

~I'm thankful for a husband who has stuck with me for 9.5 years and it feels like we're just getting warmed up!

~I'm thankful for a network of friends, both online & in real life, that are supportive and loving.

~I'm thankful for the gorgeous fresh white snow outside and the weather being warm enough that we went for a long walk.

~I'm thankful God kept me safe on the roads last night, coming home from the city... it was snowing so hard and visibility was limited!

~I'm thankful for healthy babies and fertility... for the chance to bring a new life into this world!

I am so blessed.

Ditto that! I was driving home from the city last night too. (Probably a bit earlier than you...we just had terrible fog...no snow yet.) The roads were awful. Neat thing is, every time the kids and I prayed about the roads/driving conditions, the fog lifted just enough to make a difference. It was so cool! So I'm thankful for answered prayers, little as they may be. :D

I'm also thankful for my dh's flexible work schedule....it allowed him to go into work late yesterday morning so that he could help me get the kids and the van packed and ready for a day in the city.

I'm thankful for family I can rely on.

I'm thankful for good kids who make me proud. [cheerful]

And I'm thankful for the newest member of our family [pregnantside] and that my pregnancy so far has been for the most part, trouble free.

Ditto.... (except I only have 1 good child who makes me proud until #2 comes) and only heading into my 2nd trimester but I am hopeful that the rest of the pregnancy will be as smooth as the 1st trimester has been.

SO, so thankful for such an understanding and supportive husband, and for a God who is carrying me through our latest trial (loss of our pet).

Thank you for starting this thread. I think it is what I need lately, to really focus on the blessings and the good in my life.

~I'm also thankful for hub's work schedule- he works nights, and his boss is a Christian man who is very easy going... so hub worked from home last night, and may again tonight. It sure makes me feel better with him here.

~God has been providing non-stop... even when I get stressed about interventions late in Pregnancy... God steps in, calms my fears, and provides me with wonderful prenatal care.

~Thankful for all my family near by; my parents are living with us this week as they are moving closer (six miles away!!!), and his parents are literally 1-minute away, my sister lives up here too... all are eager to help and be a part of each pregnancy, birthday, holiday, and what-not.

~Thankful for each ache and pain of pregnancy... my oldest sister is 34 this year, divorced, still single, and never known the pleasure of a pregnancy... and it's all she has ever longed for. She is a constant, daily reminder to me of just *HOW* very blessed I am. Every time she holds one of my babies, and I see that longing in her eyes~ Breaks my heart, but makes me-- stop--- pray--- and be thankful~

~I'm thankful for my friends here at C-moms. I don't have a lot of extra time for "girlfriends" and such... and frankly don't crave that kind of *in-real-life* interaction. But it's nice to come here, where I have many other Christian mom's/women who share my love for the LORD and can offer up prayer-support and love. You all are priceless to me!

Thank you so much for starting this thread, Margi!! :)

I am thankful for my nausea which is a reminder that all is well with my wee one.

I am thankful that my husband and I work opposite shifts so we don't have to put the kids in daycare

I am thankful for our home we rent that is in a nice area, cheap and still big enough for our growing family

I am thankful that even though this baby wasn't planed by us, it was planed by God.
