In 5 years what will your signature look like, whether it be other children, different work or life path, age, years married, etc. what ever you want to dream about or just write about it simple or long. Okay I'll start.
(hope this hasn't been done yet)
--------------------------------
The year 2012
Renee very happily married 20 plus years
age:40 yrs.
Sons are
Bobby--19 yrs. eeek and is in a business college to better our family business somehow involving computers. While not in college for breaks etc.he is still traveling with our family business. Dyslexia and other learning difficulties only made him more focused on what he wants to accomplish in life.
Ryan 16- driving ahh, already pondering colleges he plans to attend. I feel he may spread his wings and chose another path than our family business. He is the leader of the pack and great at helping homeschool. He has a girlfriend that I just love.
Logan 11-still my strong willed child but smart as a whip. Loves to work in the business already, and has a strong work ethic for a child of 11. I see him as being a huge part of the family business someday.
Lukas 9-- Loves schooling and just being a boy. I think he may be my flirt.
Amanda-- almost 7 I can't even imagine. She still is the little drama queen and has her dad and brothers wrapped around her pinky. She is quite the mommy's little helper. And thinks boys are just gross, she helps clean up after enough of them after all.
Me--we have a home in Florida with a pool that I love. We still travel just about all year but now have a route westward more. Hubby and I look forward to someday some of the children taking some of the pressures of the business. We pray we won't be so controlling as our the in-laws are over the business. Involved in a mom's church group whenever possible. And immersed in a great homeschooling group in our area in Florida.

If the Lord chooses to bless me with more children it will be slightly different, so I'll write it with the kids we have now...

Charelle will be 20 and attending Pacific design academy, but already making a name for herself in the fashion industry.

The year 2012
Rachel and "Clyde" (inside joke) married 12 years
Our mortage just paid off!!
age:31 yrs. (dh will be 58 8) )
Kids? I have to make this one up!
Bethany-age 5, spitting image of her namesake Grandma B. Smart as a whip, as dh would say. Already knows what she wants to do when she grows up!
Mariam-age 4 mos., just came back with her from someplace in the far east where she was born. She's still confused about when bedtime is.
Me--busy homeschooling, and working on my third book for Bethany House. I'm still working here too! I've visited Jamma and 1Cor13's play group with the girls. There are some newer C'Moms in Toronto, and we have a moms night out every month. Dh is cutting down on work, because the house and vehicles are paid off and my income is enough for the basics. He starts selling the products he's worked with all his life, and he's an ace at it. He's the frontrunner for a free trip to Hawaii in the company he works for. It's next summer.. if he sells the most!
That was kind of fun.

In 5 years... I'm still happily married but not real happy about my kids growing up so fast :( .
Trent is 14 and sings in the school chorus, the adult choir at church and plays in the school's band. Autumn is 10 and takes ballet and tap and is very sassy!
I am teaching school and loving it! I paid the student loan that I had to take out to get my master's degree off -- PTL and have a nice nest egg accumulated! I have met lots of my friends from C-moms and love them too death! DH is doing very good in his job and is also doing some consulting work as well. Life is good!
I still teach the 4 and 5 year old Sunday School class at church and am considering directing VBS again. God is SO good!!
I am very happy and can't imagine life getting any better :D .
Boy am I optimistic  it's rather disgusting isn't it??

Let's See....In 5 years......
I will be 34yrs (my dh will be 48 :D ) We will be happily married for 8 yrs (WoW!!) :D Don't know if the Lord will bless us w/ another one!!! So, here we are:
LaNae will be 7yrs old & in the 1st grade!!! (I can't imagine my baby that grown up!!!) :D Since I'm not really the homeschooling type...she will be in a very good Christian School!
Sydney (my step-dd) will be 17yrs!! Yikes!!! She's already 12 going on 30!!! She will be a Junior in HS. I just pray there is divine intervention for this child now cuz at this rate, I'm not even sure if she's literally going to survive the 6th grade!!! :(
We will have been able to purchase our dream home on LOTS of acreage so my dh can fish/hunt on our land!!! With my business, we've already replaced my income & in 5 years, we will be extremely successful by then. My dh will be home working w/ me. We will have travelled already to Africa & helped w/ the food banks my company has set up to feed starving children (in some of those areas 70% of the children have neither parent & just want food!). We will have more 'choices' in life & if we want to tip a waitress $100, we will be able to. We believe the Lord gives so you can give more. And we just have insatiable desires to give!!! We want to owe nobody nothing either!!! And be completely debt free w/ the plan to even have the mortgage paid off in another 5 yrs!! Hallelujah!!!
2012
I am 45 and dh is 50. We have been happily married for 19 years. Only one more year until our celebratory 20 year anniversary trip to Hawaii. We have been saving up for it.
I'm working in the school system so I will be home when my kids aren't in school. Still plugging away at taking classes online, hoping to at least finish before I have to move to the senior facility. For a week or so during the summer, little Bethany will come to visit her Auntie Amy and family since her momma and pappa keep her so far away. We are hoping it will become a yearly event.
Jessica is 16 and she has been so responsible and trustworthy we are considering letting her start the process for her permit. She is still really active with the youth at church and is volunteering in the childrens' ministries as well. She also is still a strong swimmer and is perfecting her softball skills. She has a pretty good idea of where she wants to go to college and which direction she will take in her studies.
Franklin is 11 and doing well in school. He still would rather play than sit still and learn though. He is still playing baseball and loves it. He and his dad try to get to as many Clippers games as they can. This is his second year to go hunting. I pray especially hard during those times for his safety. It is hard to see him, my baby, growing up so fast.

2012
I am now 29 and my "Superman" is a very young 42
We have been married 5 years, a full 5 years longer than my family predicted. And they have finally come around...it took long enough
We will have paid for our property, both vehicles and home at this point. (Really, only 4 years left on all of them  ) And we are beginning the process of designing our "dream home" which will of course be on the lake.
"Superman" will finally be able to open his business "car wash, detail, qucik lube, tire shop and auto body repair". I of course will be thrilled to support my "grease monkey" in this endeavor, as I too have recently seen my dream come true of being signed on to write devotional studies for Gospel Light publishing.
Oh the children.....
Cody is now 19 and has recently received a full football scholarship to the college of his choice. He will of course go on to play pro ball as he is the best quarterback ever!
Tanner is now 18, graduating from high school and headed for seminary where he will be trained for the ministry. (Currently surrendered to God's calling to the ministry - wants to be a Pentacostal preacher!) PTL
Megan is now 17, and I pray is doing well in High School and staying out of trouble. She has of course finally "blossomed" and is a beautiful young lady. (Realistically, at the rate she is going now, I may be a grandma before I am 30.)
Braiden is now 9 and a typical boy. Baseball is his passsion still. His speech problems have resolved and he is finally doing well in school. The only unsettling thing is he is still sporting the 1980's mullett his mom is so fond of....poor boy is still being teased.
Hayden is almost 7 and is still asking "why" about everything. This child will be a walking book of knowledge by the time he is 13.
Matthew is 9 and has again amazed us with his IQ scores. He is excelling in school and even though he is far advanced for his age, he has chosen to stay with his age group and do extra studies on the side for fun. He is a wonderful big brother and as always mommy's helper.
The girls (we are still hoping for twins) are 4 and running wild with their carrot red hair and all of those freckles. Smart, sweet and funny, they are the light of their daddy's life and have truly completed our family making us a perfect number 10.
Fun to think about...

In 5 years....
We will be married 17 years (together 23).
Son, Corey, will be 22 And hopefully in college (he is showing NO interest or motivation foward it now.) or he has gotten over his teenage selfishness and is now working with dh in our custom car shop.
Daughter, Jessica will be 17, driving me crazy!!!! We are fighting the boys away with bats! But ultimately very proud of her dedication to her school & her family. She always helps the grandparents and also her aunt with her autistic cousin.
With any luck, my business will be self supporting and I will be working from home again and able to share so much more with my family.
