So, as some of you may know I have been potty training Rhiana for a while now and I can say that she is pretty much trained on pee, which I am so excited about, but we are having some problems with poop. Now I know that poop is usally harder to train for. I think she knows that she has to poop but she either doesn't want to or can't tell the difference between a fart and poop. I was wondering if anyone had tips on what I could do to help Rhiana with this. I don't know what to do. Thanks!

If she goes at the same time every day, or relatively the same time every day, you could just have her sit on the pot at that time, and wait it out with her. Otherwise... try putting her on every thirty minutes??? I had issues with one of my twins not *wanting* to poop on the pot... so she would hold it and hold it and hold it until she wound up being very constipated... then it was *painful* to go which made her not want to poop even more. ::sigh:: That was pretty frustrating. She's finally over that... it took about a year of dealing with it and getting through it. Now, at four... she and her sister are fully potty trained.

Yea. Did the same here. Both kids had to sit every 30 minutes. Gradually it became longer between having to sit but eventually I didn't have to remind them. My 3 yr old still will sometimes poop if she's wearing a pullup but that's rare and far between.
